Superb!
One of the best value for money purchases of all time. Superb. The bad reviewers probably haven’t had the patience to do it properly with a stencil and a little bit of water. These cut perfect round holes in my 7mm thick ceramic tiles. Used several sizes several times and no resultant loss of quality in finish or drop in performance. How long they’ll last with everyday use by a pro, I don’t know but for a sizeable DIY project these are great and I will be planning to use them again next time I need to do some tiling.Advice: it is hard to start a hole on a tile. I bought a metal tile guide however the sucker was bigger than the tile and wouldn’t suck onto the tile. SOLITION: find an offcut of tile you don’t need. Drill your hole in that first then use it as a stencil to drill your hole in the tile you need. Easier to drill the tile before fixing to the wall, but this method should still work if you need to drill tiles on the wall too.Keep the drill wet or if drilling tile before fitting it, on the ground or on a workbench, pour water into it.

Great for that specialist job
We had a 3 litre Jack Daniels bottle let over from a Christmas gift( minus the contents) and thought that it was too attractive to just bin. My wife wanted to make it into a feature and decided to up cycle into a lamp filled with LED lights. Immediate problem was gaining an entry point for the electrics at the base. Looked online and decided that this product might work. It sure did. Just remember, when drilling, that there is a lot of heat generated so keeping the glass cool is a must. With a little work, we now have a very attractive up cycled LED lamp..

Good quality hole cutter. Does exactly what you need
I used these to cut small holes in clear acrylic for an arcade project I'm working on and these hole cutters worked very well and cutting an accurate hole that I needed to place the buttons through.Although I would say, if you are working with plastics, do remove the plastic from withing the hole cutter before the plastic hardens.Iade the mistake of putting my drill down when I cut the last hole and the plastic hardened and it was a nightmare to remove. But all other small pieces were removed with was when the plastic was hot.On a whole I'm really impressed with the clean cut these hole cutters give.

Not Too Impressed
When using core drills they must be kept cool. Constantly keeping the core drill under cool water, the diamond grit came away from the drill until I was left with a steel tube rubbing against the stone. I must have only gone 10mm or 11mm deep when it stopped cutting. Buy cheap, buy twice...

Great quality for this price.
Needed to drill a few holes of different sizes in porcelain tiles and didn't want to necessarily buy ones that cost circa £20 each as only using for one job. Having read other reviews I thought I'd give these a go. Found them absolutely superb value for the price. Used a spray bottle of water whilst drilling and started on slow speed at a slight angle until the drill bit had started to cut then gradually flattened the drill to cut the full circle. Really cannot fault these for value for money and quality for this price. Wouldn't necessarily recommend for tradesperson use but definitely for diy jobs provided they are used carefully they will do the job.

Good for the DIYer
Nice set with drill bit sizes to cover most jobs. I used them for a small shower room, using Porcelain tiles. They did the job well, leaving nice clean holes. As mentioned, they don't have a pilot drill bit but I used the tip from one of the other reviewers and clamped two bits of wood in a V shape to keep the drill bit in place. Worked great.
