Discovered it when we needed it to clean our quartz and found out that it works wonders on everything else you think it wouldn't! Ink, hair dye, blood, grease, etc. Originally designed for marine use, it works excellent in the home and kitchen, too. A little goes a long way.

If you are planning on buying this product to clean your water pipe, look elsewhere. This product CAN be used for that, but it is much better suited for cleaning your quartz banger after a dab. This product will keep your quartz bangers crystal clear for probably 500+ dabs. HOW TO USE : I bought a bunch of dropper bottles from ebay (15ml) for like $4 and I fill those with the dark crystal and then drip it into my banger right after a dab. Be careful not to let it bubble up and over the nail (I wait about 30 seconds), because then when you torch that stuff that bubbled over on the outside it will get burnt on and will never come off, so just keep it on the inside and you're golden. Then take a Q-tip and rub it around with about 10 drops of dark crystal and it will lift up all of the left over oils and clean your banger like it's brand new. You can also use this stuff and some steel wool to restore a gunked up old quartz banger, just take a microwavable container that fits your quartz banger nicely and fill it will the dark crystal, then microwave it until it is nice and warm. This will speed up the process. I do this about 5 times over the course of a day and once I feel like I have soaked it enough then I take some tweezers and a little bit of steel wool and jimmy rig a sort of "Steel Wool Q-Tip" to scrape the crusties off my old nast banger, and then after about 3 minutes it will look good as new!

This stuff is fantastic. I’ve tried 100% ISO and a few other bong cleaners and they all share a few characteristics: they smell awful, especially when the piece you’re cleaning is still hot right after a sesh. Speaking of hot, a lot of the other cleaners are flammable. Not ideal for the intended application! Dark Crystal is all natural and food grade and works way better than anything else I’ve used. No terrible smell, no fires, infinitely reusable and it actually works. I had a banger that was still pretty chazzed fresh out of a 24 hour bath and agitation in a competing product (rhymes with Mlack Bagic), I cleaned it with Dark Crystal and it came out looking like new with way less effort than you would think. If you’re looking for the best rig cleaner you can buy, look no further.

I got this cleaner on recommendation from a friend for my hookah and other smoking gear setups (bong, dab rig, etc). Works really dang well, doesn't smell bad, and makes cleaning stubborn wax residue so much easier and faster. Only caveat is that when you use the microwave to heat it up (has to be hot to work), it can foam over the top of the container you're using depending on how much fluid is in the container and how long you zap it for. Haven't tried it over the stove so I can't comment on that.

I've tried a lot of cleaners for my $85+ bangers and Dark Crystal is the best!! Just warm the sides but not the bottom because this might also chaz instead of just warm it. put in in a bath for 10 minutes, swab it then warm it to dry. No rinse needed because Dark Crystal is totally organic and non-toxic. In the video there is a spot of rosin on the right side. In the pics I show a "Like New" clean banger

This stuff is amazing. Anyone who's cleaned a triple chamber unit knows how hard it can be. Well, with this formula it's so easy. I couldn't believe how well it works. Pour it in, shake it up a bit and then let it sit for awhile. After 15 minutes, it was as clean as the day I bought it. Not a single smoke or tar stain remained.
