These things are awesome. I had no issues setting them up for my 88 year old grandma. Nice big numbers she can read. She has 5 phones so she has one in every room so she doesn't have to walk all over to answer a phone. They charge easy. Great value for the money!! Wish we would have bought these a long time ago to prevent SPAM calls. This will screen all of those calls and she doesn't have to worry about being called at 2 AM and worrying if it is a family member in need or some lowlife, lazy, idiot in Timbuctoo trying to scam her! In less than 24 hours it blocked/screened 30 spam calls!! Definitely a good buy, and worth every penny. She actually gets some quiet time during the day now! ****Coming back to add that my grandma has had these over a year now and they are still just as awesome!! I recommend ANYONE with a land line buy these bad boys because I'm telling you, the amount of SPAM calls it has blocked is insane. She would get more than 30 a day and now she doesn't get any!! It is literally like magic. These are absolutely perfect!! BUY THEM!!!!!

While it was a bit confusing to set up, particularly the answer system with so many options, it has drastically cut down on Spam calls since the caller must hit the # key (with the option we use) if not in our Directory. Unlike our older phones, it is also easy to block a call with one key if one does come through, although it does not appear you can block a missed Spam call viewed in the CID list. At least they don't ring through as our old set did, but it would be nice to block out repeat callers so they don't even appear in that list as missed calls. The sound quality is very good and one can hit the Audio Assist key to improve that during a call. If there is a way to change the readout, I have not found it. Thus, each phone in order displays "Handset 1," "Handset 2," etc. So, unless we find a way to change those to "Family Room," "Kitchen," etc., we must keep a list by each phone for intercom use until we remember which is where. While it picked up the call list from our cell phones via Bluetooth, I found no way to pick up the real list we used on home phones from our prior set and had to enter those manually. And, unlike the last set we owned, it does not appear to allow cell calls to come through to the home set. Of course, our last set tried to let text messages through, which rang through, making that function worthless. Our former set supported 6 phones, which this does not. I knew that when making the purchase, so I cannot downgrade a star for that. Overall, it is an improvement.

Great little system but distance doesn’t seem to work as well as one I replaced. I am not at limits but 3 walls away a bit disappointed

We bought this phone system to replace our standard cordless phone system as we were getting far too many robo calls. The call screening works effectively. I have not gotten one telemarketing call since installing it. We were getting them as close as 3-5 minutes apart the week before installation. So that is a positive. One other positive is you can delete individual messages from the handset (our old system could only do that from the master base unit). The downside is the inconvenience of operation. 1. Answering a call: simply pressing the speaker or phone button does not answer calls in screen mode. You must also press "1" to answer. This additional delay/step seems unnecessary. 2. The message playback does not show the telephone number of the calling party when playing back messages. 3. The intercom system is hard to use and takes several steps to start a call to another handset. 4. Handsets cannot be given useful names like "kitchen", "studio", etc. Only the default Handset 1,2,3 etc. forcing you to remember which handset number is which room/person. 5. No clip on the back of the phone. With my old phone, I often clipped it to my shirt collar and used speaker phone hands free. This phone has no means to clip onto anything for hands free operation. 6. Base unit has no display so when playing messages, you cannot see caller's number or caller ID. 7. No dedicated button for telco's voicemail. Our old phones had a "VM" button that could be programmed to dial our telco voicemail (call waiting voicemail) and dial the passcode and start playing messages stored on the telco's voice mail system. As far as I can tell, that feature is not on this phone. So the bottom line is, you have to give up conveniences you may be used to just to block telemarketers. UPDATE JULY 2025: The call block feature has started to malfunction this month. Customers are having to e-mail me to tell me that my answering call screening system is hanging up on them. My phone stopped ringing a few days ago and now I know why. About a week ago, instead of hearing the caller's name, I hear a woman's voice saying "wireless caller" on every call. A few days after that happened, I stopped getting calls ringing through altogether and my e-mail inbox is filling with complaints from customers who can't reach me by phone! UPDATE JANUARY 2026: The replacement BL102-5 phone system has failed yet again. A pattern emerges: the phone's call screener works for 6 months and then quits working. Callers are prompted to leave their name, but the recording beep never happens and the system hangs up on them. The first unit lasted about 6 months before developing this odd behavior, and now the replacement is doing it too.

So far so good. Just received the phones and installed them. Easy to navigate, written instructions are clear and precise. I would recommend.

They work... initially. Interesting note: I also have a regular phone on the line and it rings once BEFORE the DECT phones. Go figure. UPDATE: too often the incoming caller cannot be heard, or the caller cannot hear us. A second call usually gets through. Have to look for a better phone.

I purchased this phone because of all of the spam and robo calls that I was getting that rang constantly and daily. Before using the phone, I did as the instructions recommended and gave them a full charge and entered my starred and favorite numbers as well as programmed my directory or phonebook into the phone. After setting up the phone which does take a bit of time but seems well worth it. I am using my new phone and my telephone seldomly rings any longer. You can utilize a variety of features from no screening, to do not disturb, along with the type for screening that you wish to enable. You can screen all, screen for only favorites, or only from your directory, etc. There is caller announcement and many other features to this phone. This telephone has been better than the stand alone devise that was purchased strictly to block solicitors and spam callers. My old phone used to announce "Spam Risk" constantly even with the call blocking device that was supposed to have over 500,000 preprogrammed numbers in it, and these calls have been eliminated. Awesome device and at a very good price.

These work well. I plugged them into the telephone line and they worked well from the get-go. Some assembly required (insert batteries and plug the base into the wall outlet to charge). No problems whatsoever. Call quality is clear and range is good. However, we don’t use the answering machine on this phone system so I don’t know how well that will work.

Todo esta muy bien pero no tiene atajo el intercom cuando es la función que mas se ocupa en estos equipos, tampoco puedes cambiar de tono en intercom, el que viene de fabrica se escucha muy bajo, el intercom tipo radio también es muy funcional y lastima que este no lo trae, ya me había acostumbrado a esta herramienta.
