If your daughter is at all interested in fashion design you NEED to get this for her!! This is not just a game but a true learning experience for young girls interested in fashion. First on the app you need to download to a compatible tablet, your little fashionista designs an outfit from a wide array of colors and patterns that are interchangeable and can sit atop one another. She can also download a photo she's taken with a digital camera and insert that pic onto her clothing piece which makes the design choices endless as you can download pic's of fabrics, patterns, textures, etc. One of the first designs my daughter did was putting a photo of a fluffy white kitty in the center of a red sweater. Adorable! After designing the outfit you print it on the sticky sided fabric paper that can go in nearly any printer (we have a $99 Brother ink jet). The app gives you directions on how to insert the paper, print, and apply the outfit to the doll. Since the paper feels and looks like fabric, when you apply it to your doll it is so realistic looking, it hugs the dolls curves and creases and folds just like it would on a person.She loves designing clothes, and it took her only a few minutes to master using the app which was free. I probably will want to keep spare ink for the printer on hand but really, it doesn't take up any more ink than printing every day items, like recipes, craft instructions etc. I just make sure she asks me before printing in case I am low on ink and give her a limit on the amount she can print each time she uses it. You can buy more fabric paper when she runs out which at first glance I think cost around $12 for 8-10 sheets. Also, I wanted to let you know that when I purchased this on Amazon it was $20 cheaper than in my Walmart!

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She was sooo excited, as she had specifically asked for this gift. We set aside some time to start designing and she had the best time creating a cute outfit. We followed all instructions very carefully and everything worked well until we tried to print the design. The outfit did not line up correctly with the stickers. It was a complete mess! We were working from the website, not the app. We tried 2 more times, each with the same result. Don't waste your time and money! Very cute idea, but doesn't work right! Also, because I bought early, the "RETURN WINDOW" has closed and we can't even get our money back.

My daughter used this kit twice, and never since. The whole idea is a little too complex, and the cost of replacement printables is so high, that you get almost no real usage from it. Oh, and the doll is a hollow, rigid shell, not a real Barbie.

I was really excited to get this for my little 6 year old but I really did not like Barbie she is a little bigger then the normal dolls and not as moveable... my daughter liked it and was excited by the idea of it but the lack of motion and fact she just looked a little different then her other barbies deterred her from this product. Fast shipping as always but the product itself eh.

My daughter loves this barbie! She is really into barbies and also loves drawing and being creative. This ties all of that into one. I bought it for her for her birthday. The only drawback is the amount of ink I use in my printer but it is a really fun barbie to have.

Packaging was great. Much larger than I anticipated but well worth ever penny (looks more expensive in person than what's shown in the image). My son's little friend fell in love with it and that's all you can want when giving a gift...seeing their faces light up.Wish the refills cost less since the cost of a new doll is only a few dollars more. Wanted to get one of the darker barbies but it was so expensive...$85 or something in that area...and it had the same things in it!!!This review is for the quality and value of the product and the product far outweighs that of the cost of the product, so you are getting it for a steal at this price. Would definitely recommend anyone getting this product

Bought this as a birthday present and was very disappointed​ to find out that not only has the app been discontinued but so has the website. This doll is completely useless now.Please do not buy this item as it will not work without the app that is no longer available.

Setup was ok and we managed to print out 1 outfit. Getting it on the doll smooth and straight was not so easy. It's at that point that my 12 year old lost interest. The doll is sitting in her closet. Very interesting concept but executing it from start to finish takes more effort than my daughter wanted. We may use it again with friends but you need to peel off your other outfit...not sure if it can be saved.
