Satina Chrome 5 Tier Large Shower Caddy

I have been meaning for some time to find a decent chrome-plated set of shower shelves online that didn't (1) rust in a matter of months like those from the UK's no.1 high street DIY retailer do (every single time and trust me, I've tried many; the factory they use in China clearly does not know how to chrome plate!) OR (2) cost close on £100 like those from a well-known home goods retailer.For anyone who hasn't had time to research fully - the really expensive ones are chrome-plated brass. Cheap ones are chrome-plated steel. However, it is quite possible to chrome plate steel properly so it doesn't rust, unless you scratch the chrome hard enough to expose the steel (then you are in trouble). This Swedish-made design is steel-based, but if they are prepared to offer a 5-year guarantee, trust me if the chrome plating will last 5 years, it is good enough to last for a very long time.I originally found the three-shelf version of this product, but then read concerns expressed by others about the shelf heights for shampoos etc., and decided in the end to order this five-shelf version, which has two much deeper shelves at the bottom. For the record, its smaller shelves are 14.5cm from the top side of one shelf to the bottom of the next, with the opening between shelves (i.e. from the top of the bar that stops stuff falling out) being 11cm. A typical shampoo or shower gel container is 20-22cm. The bigger two bottom shelves are 24.5cm in clear height, with an opening of 18cm. This works fine for all our bottles.The product looks very modern and stylish and is quite narrow, so works well fitting in a very small shower cubicle between the centre controls/shower rail and the end wall.

Replaced some of those suction shelves with this, and wow, I'm very happy. There's no specific holes for the screws, but if you put two in the top and two in the sides lower down, it works very well. I've had it now for a good 6 months and it's not showing any sign of decay or rust, and looks as good as day one. The bottom two baskets are easily big enough to hold a large shampoo bottle - I'm talking Tresseme here - and not just one. I think you'd get 3 on the one basket! The upper shelves hold smaller bottles - I think the largest height wise would be like a Simple face wash bottle, or for blokes - those King of Shave tubes. One very small improvement would be a couple of hooks for those squidgy things to wash with - you know the ones that look like a pom-pom!

We wanted something that looked good and gave ample storage without taking up a lot of space. We like this a lot and it has cleared a lot of clutter whilst looking good at the far end of our bath (away from the shower). Good quality and easy to install with a drill (tip we found on the internet was to put packing tape over the tiles you want to drill through to stop them cracking).

I purchased this Caddy due to the rust free guarantee. I am disappointed that only four months on, several of the trays are rusting. I have attached two photos to show this. This is such a shame, as the caddy itself is a great design, will plenty of storage.The question is, will the seller be willing to back the rust free guarantee and provide a replacement?I have only selected a one star rating due to the rust. Otherwise it would of been a five star.

I have a very small bathroom, with little wall space. This shelving is just what i'm looking for. It has 5 shelves, the 2 at the bottom are large enough to take family size bottles. As the shelves go up the distance between them get smaller. i think its nice to have a variety of different height shelves. The shelves themselves are quite heavy and it only has 2 screws holding them up. I will have to see when loading the selves if they hold up.The quality of the shelves are nice and it has a 5 year guarantee.They look really good. I cant tell you if the rust easily as i haven't had them long enough.I am so pleased with my purchase. I have searched for a long time to get what i was looking for.

Was at first thrilled as it fitted a niche in the corner of my bathroom perfectly. Then on trying to use it, realised that only the bottom two ranks are any good for use; the other three are too closely spaced together (and also not very deep) to accommodate anything (and then try and retrieve it at this height). I can't even store toilet paper rollls up there -- not deep enougn. So it holds a roll of paper towels lying down -- that's about the size of it.Might as well go for the 3-tier version.

Very recently purchased this shower caddy. Absolutely loved the look of it and the final decider was the 5 year guarantee. Its been up a week and already rust spots and a 3cm line of rust along one of the shelves have appeared so very disappointed. I have messaged the supplier and I am waiting for their response. I am planning to try another one in the hope that this was a one off ... watch this space and i'll let you know the outcome. Fingers crossed!3/10/2013 - UPDATE ..... The supplier was really helpful. I had to supply a photo of the rust spots and they arranged for a new one to be delivered. It's just arrived. I really hope that this one will be ok!

nothing to screw it to the wall. Dont think it is Chrome maybe just plated but they dont tell you thatit doesnt even stand straight on the wall

Aparentemente tiene buena calidad. Pero al colocarse en un cuarto de baño y en mi caso en concreto, dentro de habitáculo de ducha, no sé cómo aguantará la humedad, si bien parece que pone es de acero, por lo que en teoría debe aguantar sin oxidarse.

Acheté il y a plus de 3 mois et installé dans la douche. Aucune trace de rouille. Beaucoup de rangement que ça soit pour de petits ou grands flacons. Livré avec 4 vis. Fixé avec 2 vis en haut et 2 vis vers le milieu. Ça tient bien. J'ai percé dans les joints du carrelage pour ne pas casser le carrelage si un jour je dois la démonter. Je suis ravie de cette achat. Bonne qualité. Très fonctionnel.

Es ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und der Abstand der einzelnen Fächer ist optimal um jeder Art von Duschgel, Rasierschaum oder was auch immer unterzubringen.Es fällt auch nichts mehr heraus. Den Preis finde ich zwar etwas Happig, aber die Qualität stimmt in jedem Fall.

Sembra non temere l'acqua ma è poco tempo che è sistemato nella doccia per emettere un giudizio definitvo. La mensola nell'insieme ha un peso adeguato alla grandezza ed al materiale, nel complesso risulta abbastanza solida.

Das Produkt bietet jede Menge Platz, aber sueht nach kurzer Zeit sehr unschön aus, weil es rostet.Das hab ich jetzt 3 Jahre immer wieder geschrubbt - aber kanns nun nicht mehr mit ansehen. Es gibt eine 5-Jahres- Garantie ...wo kann man die wohl geltend machen?
