I have been using Softcups for a few years & was thinking about a reusable option for a while and eyeing this one, but it was the initial price throwing me off. Finally decided to invest in the full kit with the pouch, after my 2nd cycle now, I’m so glad I made this purchase! I kept forgetting I was on it & had to set a timer to take it out to clean since it felt like I wasn’t even on it. My 1st attempt was a big fail & I was regretting it but then I used the lube & put it ALL THE WAY back from a seated position, it stays put! The only thing I don’t like is the tail cuz it pokes out sometimes and is uncomfortable then, but I also like it for easy removal. Anyways if you on the fence, hop over here! U won’t be disappointed once u figure out how to use it!

Bought these a year and a half ago and I’m obsessed!! I tried the cup first, it was uncomfortable, and I was fighting for my life with the suction. Discs are SO much better. I don’t notice the disc is in, and the string makes it so easy to use.I got the pack when it had the small and the large. I notice my body needs different sizes. Sometimes the small leaks, sometimes the large gives me cramps. I asked customer service for the medium size, and they delivered for free! I still notice sometimes I want to size up or down.The medium is a bit different. It seems thinner and it has like breathing holes where the other 2 do not. Not sure if they’ve updated since I got them. If so, I prefer the old version.Note: Idk if it’s my shape or flow, but I leak a tiny bit around them, so I wear period underwear (from bambody). Love love love this combo. Eco friendly, wallet friendly, not smelly, lasts all day, comfy, discrete, obsessed.

Switching to this product is the best choice I made in a long time.I bought this item early December and I am writing this review after having used this product exclusively since the purchase.This was my first time buying a period disc. I have no experience with similar products.The instructions were super helpful and it was very intuitive to use. I have had no issues whatsoever getting it into the correct place. The next day I was so confident that I even left the house for an extended time without a backup option. I would like to add that I have a very heavy flow. My OB/GYN and I actually discussed an ablation because all else has failed to control this. I also took this product with me on vacation and used it in public restrooms without issues.Since I started using the disc, I have noticed several things:- My discomfort and cramping has noticably decreased- My periods are shorter- No more irritation or discomfort when removing or inserting (I used tampons prior)- No overnight leaks or accidents when coughing or sneezing- Intimacy is possible and the disc is unnoticeable for me (and my partner would like to add that it is unnoticeable for him, too, and it did not interfere whatsoever)So if you are on the fence about it (I was on the fence about trying this for at least four years!!), please try it. It may be a different experience for you, but I hope it will be as good as mine.I love my Pixie, I hope you'll love yours, too.There was also another side effect, which I, as a mom, found positive: my preteen daughter saw my Pixie bag in the bathroom and inquired about it. I explained it to her and showed her the product. This has led to us discussing periods and other female changes. It really opened the door for also talking about different products for when she has her first period. Conversations like that are so important!

It's got everything you need to get started. Some things seemed unnecessary at first, but I bought it anyway because there's 2 disc sizes for a reasonable price plus a bunch of extras. The lube is a must-have for inserting the larger disc, personally. I've never boiled a menstrual cup in 5 years of use and have never gotten any infection of any sort down there, but the sanitizing cup still came in handy after I dropped the disc in the toilet. Being able to soak it in water and cup wash and aggressively slosh soapy water through the little holes on the disc gave me peace of mind. I haven't used the stain remover and wipes yet, although there is a little stain. The tail lets you remove the disc way more conveniently and quickly than trying to grasp and untuck the disc from behind your pubic bone. I wanted to like the small disc because it's easier to insert without lube, but for a very high cervix it takes too much fiddling to get it right under the cervix and then it moves out of place too easily and causes some pain when it's just bumping against the cervix. Some people online write that people with high cervices might actually be more comfortable with smaller discs, it all depends, but after actually trying one I don't think that's right, at least for a small disc THIS small. If you have a very high cervix you can barely reach, I'd say try the large and medium discs, don't even bother with the small. Overall, good value, very helpful tail, and if you have a high cervix I suggest sticking to large and medium discs.
