This sink is made with quality. The stainless steel is a heavy gauge with sound deadening insulation.We're really happy with it.

This is my third Kraus sink and just like the other two its a really good sink. This sink came without the Strainer and so I reached out to Kraus Customer Service to obtain the missing part. They not only responded within hours of my initial email, they were also very clear and concise as to the steps I should take to get the required part. Within 2 days the matter was settled and the replacement part shipped. During this time they kept in contact advising me what was being done and when it was being done. Only today they again contacted me to confirm that I had received the replacement and that all was well. Absolutely fantastic customer service and great products to boot.

The sink has only been in for about a month, so I don't know how durability and stain resistance will be. However, it looks and feels good.The drain is probably fine, but it is all plastic. I've tended to shell out for heavy brass Kohler drains, but my Mom had bought this, so I went ahead and installed this one, which was easy enough.The drain basket actually seemed really cool. The pop-up/push down seems better than the traditional twist. However, it drains really slowly. If you really want to get water out of the sink, it is best to pull the basket out and let it drain. So, I wish I had pushed my mom to buy a separate drain/basket, and might end up pulling it all out to install one at some point.

As a very last minute change in plans, I decided to "upgrade" the pot filler faucet I'd been planning on the kitchen remodel to a full-on prep sink, right next to the range. The reasoning was simple: the pot filler eases the filling of the pot, but after use, the water still has to be dumped somewhere.Fast forward to this, after some good experiences with Kraus' lavatory drain products.My key sizing criteria for a prep sink was that it needed to be wide enough to fit a standard 5-quart colander, and this it is, plus a bit.My wife really was concerned this would be too wide for such a use, but we had plenty of counter space left over, so relented. It's true, this is basically a full size single basin sink, but it's very usable.The undermount design allows the insertion of a cut-to-size cutting board to cover over the sink opening, should I want to have the added counter space available -- mainly as a surface to transfer hot pots to, since it sits right next to the range.The quality is fantastic. 16 gauge construction is notably superior to some of the cheaper options I looked at at the local supply houses and big box stores. The underside of the sink is coated with an insulating-type material, which I **assume** helps to retain water temperature if being used as a dishpan (not in our case), but I **believe** deadens the noise of water hitting it from the faucet (it's certainly quieter than previously owned un-coated stainless sinks, but those were also constructed of lighter gauge material).As others have mentioned, the sink comes with a full sized grid, strainer, and towel. The packaging is ridiculously overdone, with heavy cardboard, foam, and a heavy protective bag, reusable bag. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to suggest you look at Amazon Warehouse for a discount priced returned model of this sink, because I think it's highly unlikely this could be damaged in shipping.As for our prep sink arrangement, we set this up with 4" of counter between the edge of the basin and the range, and installed a wall mounted  Kohler Karbon  articulating faucet right at the edge of the basin, so it can easily swing between the basin and the back corner burner.

Third one I have purchased and installed in rental kitchen remodels with granite counters. Always have mounted under the granite. Looks great and makes a great impression. Holds up great (3 years and going strong.)

I had seen reviews that said the sink didn't drain well but I also saw many reviews that were positive. The sink arrived well packaged and looked beautiful. It was installed without any difficulty. Unfortunately the reviews stating that there is a design flaw were correct. There is a small puddle of water near the drain that never drains unless you wipe it away. I was having my kitchen countertops redone so decided to replace an old Blanco sink with this one. I am hanging on to the old sink in case I decide to put the old one back in. I hope the constant standing water will not cause the sink to rust in this spot. Only time will tell....

The sink itself is ok. The drain that came with it is a plastic piece of junk. It's so bad, I really question why they bothered. I just ended up throwing it away and buying a metal one locally.I probably would have just returned the whole sink, but I bought it early in my remodeling project, and the counter top has always been cut for it.

This sink arrived extremely well packed, wrapped in a fibre bag, surrounded by 1 inch foam and interior cardboard frame and then encased in a super strong cardboard box. The whole works was then inside an Amazon shipping box. Not surprisingly, it arrived in great shape! (I had worried about shipping this sort of item).The sink is heavy 16vs stainless nicely polished and some form of coating on the back, and comes with a nice strainer basket and bottom grate.Have not installed it but we are very impressed, for the price.Update: The sink has now been installed and both the countertop fabricator and plumber commented positively on its construction and quality.
