Q: Would that work on 05 Honda 450 X

The 2019+ L model has a full subframe that runs all the way to the tailight mount. I don't think the 2019+ X has that feature. I'm not sure about the prior generations.

Q: What is the weight capacity of this rack? it says not recommended for use with anything larger than a 1 gal rotopax

Can't remember official answer-was like 10 lbs or something... BUT-- this thing is built super strong. I wouldn't hesitate to put well over 10kg or 25 lbs + on it.. I would not like to ride with that much weight back there but the rack could carry plenty.

Q: what is the weight for a 450l rack?

about 2 lbs ,, its rugged and with the machine at 290 lbs its a non issue
