Trespass Straiton Ii, Men’s Snow Boots

Superb design
Well designed boot with a warm full foot liner. The boot itself, as you'd expect from Trespass, is of solid construction with a deep tread to ensure grip. The upper extends about halfway up the calf and is secured by full length laces giving you a firm and comfortable feel.Sizing is important. I take an 8 UK and needed to reorder in a 9 to get a comfortable fit in standard hiking socks. Your choice of size should be based on how thick/many pairs of socks you intend wearing. All in all, a good purchase

small fitting
Bought these for a trip to lapland. Didn't read the reviews before buying but should have. Bought a size bigger than I normally buy but they are quite snug fitting. I'd wanted a larger size to be able to wear extra thick socks but it'll be a tight squeeze, not sure if the next size up would be too big though. Hopefully the boots & normal socks will be enough.Boots themselves seem quite good quality & comfy & warm.As other reviews make sure to buy at least a size bigger than you normally take.

Good boots for the price and true to size fitting.
Bought a size 9 on advisement they run a size small. They don't, they are a but tight out the box but soon loosen off, result is l have boots l am happy with just a pity they are a size larger than l wanted. Given they go up past my shins I can wear them but it'll be an eight l order next time....they are comfortable, waterproof and hold up well on my daily walk along the east coast of Fife with my dogs. I'll be happy if they get me through the winter for the £30 they cost.

Waterproof, small size, massive blisters!
The good - substantial, warm and waterproof. The bad -Small sizing. I read the reviews and sized up from a 7 to an 8. Still very small. I have wide feet and these are a struggle to even get on.Dig in high on the heel. They were fine to wander around the house in for a few mins at a time but when actually wearing to walk outside around a field, my god the pain!! Was hobbling and had to give up after 40 mins. These are the absolute last resort of my pairs of boots and unwearable without cushioning plasters on my heels.I am a dog trainer so am used to being out in walking boots / wellies etc in all weathers. These do the job of keeping feet dry where other 'waterproof' boots don't but they are crippling to wear.Absolutely do not recommend and wish I hadn't bought them but once they have been worn outside, returns are impossible.

Excellent value for money
I was a bit unsure that these boots would be suitable as they were cheaper than others I looked at but I shouldn't have worried. Just had 3 days in Finland where it was very cold with a lot of deep snow and the boots were perfect. My feet stayed warm and dry even during a husky sled ride and a snowmobile trip through a forest. The boots are very comfortable with no chaffing. Just remember to buy 2 sizes up to allow for thick socks.

The backs dig in
The backs dig in and have lost their shape after 6 months.Waterproof and very warm. Not great for regular long walks.

Very comfy, and will do just right for bad weather walking the dog.
These were bought for the bad weather and will be perfect in the snow.

True to size despite other reviews.
Boots are true to size in my opinion. I had the benefit of trying a size 10 in local shop which were far too big for me. They never had a 9 in stock which is why I used Amazon for the purchase. I am a size 9 in shoes. What you need to understand is when the boots are boxed the bottom laces are pulled tight meaning the boots appear tight on the ankles. I unlaced the boots then forced my feet into them and plan on wearing them to allow to take the proper shape. This could also be done by pushing a rolled up towel into the ankle area. They seem very comfy and will allow thicker socks too. Early days to comment on quality but they are an excellent fit. Just have patience.
