I can just tell you from using it. It is a good product and I store all of my music for my DJ business. Has been very reliable. **Q: Any instructions or menu come with this external drive. How to transfer from IPhone to this external drive?** A: Hi dear, since the lighting of IPHONE provides little power, it is not enough to drive any solid state drive. If you wanna a drive to use with iphone, we suggest you consider SD cards or flash drives that does not use SSD. The instruction comes with the product package. Thanks for choosing SSK, have a good day. **Q: Is this qlc or tlc nand?** A: I have no idea qlc or TLC chipsets but runs cooler than all of my 2 tb nvme external USB 3.0 3.1gen2 3.2 gen2 drives **Q: Is it compatable with Xbox x?** A: Yes. The drive must be at least 256 GB and be formatted by the Xbox.x to exFat. If you wish to store games on your drive and only use it for your Xbox.x, choose "Games & Apps." Then it will work very well. Good luck! ## Customer Reviews ### āāāāā GREAT EXTERNAL DRIVE FOR THE MONEY *by on Reviewed in the United States March 11, 2024* I actually had questions on this item and was able to email the manufacturer and got satisfactory customer service! They emailed me back and made sure all my questions were answered! That told me right up front that they stood behind their product! Drive worked flawlessly so far. Some of the reviews I read had problems passing data, and mostly it was the cable. Mine worked fine but if you purchase this try using a different usb cable and it s/b ok from everyone's advice prior to purchase.Prior to my purchase I had a different external drive. I can't mention the manufacturer but it was one of those bookcase 1 TB drives and you can figure that one out on from there. I am a musician. I put all my data on it, and could never access it again!!! Worked only once. - I regretfully should have read their reviews because it seems everyone was having the same exact problem. And this well known company doesn't do updates on their interface software and their customer service sucks. They didn't even want to talk to me, and couldn't help me! So buy this one and you should be ok. I like it, fits in your shirt pocket too! ### ā Supplied cable faulty caused overheating and file loss *by on Reviewed in the United States August 20, 2026* I had tested the hard drive shortly after getting it. It felt hot while in use and my phone repeatedly said it was disconnected unsafely despite not touching the supplied cable, but the files transferred onto it with no issue. (Supposedly). Today, a couple months later, I tried to transfer quite a few videos onto the hard drive. It got very hot to touch, my phone started throwing the same "device was disconnected unsafely, restart your phone" notification, and every time I tried to move files onto the hard drive, it would fail after uploading 1 video and force disconnected the drive. I also noticed that there were a ton of videos missing from my first upload attempt a while back. I then checked the reviews and saw this was a common issue. In a last ditch effort, I switched the supplied cable it came with to my normal phone charger. I got no more pop ups about connection issues, I transferred 400+ videos in less than 10 minutes, and the hard drive was barely warm. I plugged it into my laptop just to confirm the files weren't corrupted, and they appeared no problem, same number of videos too. I am guessing the supplied cable that came with it was faulty, but just in case there is an issue with the hard drive I also have the videos backed up on Google photos. ### āāāāā Works as expected *by on Reviewed in the United States February 16, 2025* I needed extra storage space. My first purchase was a Transcend 2tb. After transferring a few pictures and videos it locked up my laptop. I'm not a computer person, didn't grow up in the age of computers. After disconnecting the Transcend and hours of figuring out how to get my computer to restart, my first instinct was to format the Transcend. That didn't go well, my laptop wouldn't even recognize the Transcend. I returned it to Amazon and after searching other options I found the SSK. Reviews were really good. It was only about $15 more than the Transcend. Regarding its size compared to the Transcend,, I was surprised. About the size of a matchbox! And still 2 tb of storage space. It also came with 2 different types of connectors. Other storage drives did t even come with data transfer cables. A person would have to purchase a cable separately for their personnel use. I've transferred about 5gb onto it now with no issues. No overheating whatsoever. I don't know speed stuff on computers, but I would say it's fast. I've had others that I leave the from the office, come back an hour later and they would still be transferring data. Not a problem with this SSK 2TB. I would definitely recommend it. ## Frequently Bought Together - SSK Portable SSD 2TB External Solid State Drives, up to 1050MB/s USB C SSD External Hard Drive USB 3.2 Gen2 for iPhone 15/Pro, Windows, Mac, Android Phones and Tablets - Case Compatible with SanDisk 1TB 2TB 4TB 500GB 8TB for SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable SSD External Hard Drive, Memory Card SD SDXC SDHC Card Storage Holder Organizer (Box Only) Black - SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD - Up to 1050MB/s, USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, IP65 Water and Dust Resistance, Updated Firmware - External Solid State Drive - SDSSDE61-2T00-G25 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - šŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** ā€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - šŸŒ **Shop Globally** ā€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - šŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** ā€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - šŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** ā€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - šŸ”’ **Secure Payments** ā€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ā **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** ā€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/510107402-ssk-2tb-external-solid-state-drives-up-to-10gbps-usb](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/510107402-ssk-2tb-external-solid-state-drives-up-to-10gbps-usb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
