Pyrex PIREX Graduated Measure Liters 1 with Lid

I needed a new Pyrex jug to replace one which was showing its age and this is prefect and l know it will last for many years so have no hesitation in recommending this product and saying it represents excellent value for money. With this one having a lid too will be very useful as l will not longer use cling film, even though it was the biodegradable one.

I use it for the fridge to keep cold water in. Easy to pour. Made well. Can be used for all types of things.

Could do with lower amount markings

The Pyrex Graduated Measuring Jug (1 L) with Lid has replaced my plastic bowls for reheating. The difference is night and day: glass doesn’t hold onto food smells, so yesterday’s curry doesn’t haunt today’s porridge. Small note of realism: it’s still glass, so treat it with normal care (no heroic drops) — but the heft inspires confidence. Bottom line: A simple switch that makes microwaving nicer. I reach for it every time now, and food comes out as it should — hot, even, and without that lingering plastic smell. Who it’s for: anyone tired of plastic odours, batch cookers, and folks who reheat liquids/sauces often. Who it’s not for: people who need ultra-light containers or are rough with glassware. Care tip: avoid sudden temperature shocks (e.g., freezer to microwave); let it acclimatise and you’re golden.

Good quality as usual from Pyrex. I've gone through 2 or 3 plastic jugs in a 900 watt microwave but this glass item is way better. Cleans easily and the lid hasn't deformed in the heat. Very pleased with it.

Unglaublich praktisches, temperaturbeständiges Küchenuntensil. Hatte vorher (mußte mikrowellentauglich sein) einen Glasbecher ohne Griff aus relativ zartem Glas. Deshalb hielt er wohl auch nicht lange, bis er zerbrach. Außerdem konnte er in erhitztem Zustand - ohne Griff - schlecht festgehalten werden. Nun ist er "Geschichte" und ich bin nicht böse darum. Habe ich mich doch mit dem Pyrex-Gefäß außerordentlich verbessert. Und der Deckel ist das I-Tüpfelchen. Mit Inhalt abgedeckt und ab in den Kühlschrank. Besser und unkomplizierter geht es nicht.
