A Fun Low-Impact Machine To Exercise On!
I purchased an under-the-desk elliptical machine and love it. It has a convenient remote control and different speeds, but it doesn't give me the level of exercise I hoped for. It also doesn't stay in place, and the return period has lapsed. This Tony Little elliptical machine is truly low impact. It mimics the motion of skiing without risking life and limb, speaking of which I tore the ACL in my left knee in a bad skiing accident and was on crutches for eight months rather than having surgery. Although much improved, my doctor thinks I developed arthritis in my knee from the scar tissue and suggested I take up walking. To add insult to injury (no pun intended), I also have slight residual neuropathy in both legs after chemotherapy treatments from cancer eight years ago, although it, too, is much improved (thankfully, no sign of recurrence). What I needed was this Tony Little Gazelle machine, and I remember that my mother had one when I was growing up. A friend assembled it a few days ago, which took 45 minutes to an hour. It is very sturdy, but I asked him to remove the black rounded caps on each end of the horizontal bar at about waist level because although my hands are small to medium in size, I felt a tiny pinch when they were too close to those caps (they seem decorative more than anything else). Once the machine was assembled, I was apprehensive about stepping up on the foot pedals. They are only HALF the height up of a standard stair step and would not be a challenge to most people, but I was concerned about putting pressure on my bad knee. My concern was short-lived after figuring out the best way to get up and down from the pedals while also not risking injury due to the pedals not being stationery. This is what I did: First, while holding onto the horizontal support bar (not the raised arms), I step up on the right foot pedal with my stronger leg. Second, while still holding on tight to the horizontal bar, I step up with my other (bad) leg. Once I feel stable, I grap onto the arms and start moving. IT IS SO MUCH FUN!! I have used it three days in a row, and it is no struggle at all, nor did I have any adverse effect on my bad knee or somewhat weak legs. It is such great exercise for the legs/thighs, butt, and arms and folds up with little effort. NOTE: If you have any weakness in your legs, like i do, it is very important to hold onto a stable portion of the machine BEFORE stepping up and/or down, and as mentioned, I find the horizontal bar in front to be the best for that. If you are looking for a low-impact exerciser that you will enjoy using and that will not just gather dust, I highly recommend this Tony Little Gazelle.

Fantastic
This is great, very easy to put together, very low impact workout! This is perfect for elderly and for me after a car accident to build up those muscles again! It would be cool if the company made them with little loops welded on to tie straps to for resistance on the front and back of the pedals! Just an idea

Overall strengthening and remarkable results
A great tool for overall health and body mvement. Low impact so easy on the joints and spine. Yet it manages to strengthen your core, spine and all muscle groups. Helps strengthen your bladder as well. It's a life saver

Good machine for people with achilles tendon issues and lightweight and sturdy.
I purchased this for a portable and collapsable exercise that I could use despite achilles tendon problems. Overall, I am very pleased with the design of the machine. It is a very good choice of elliptical someone with achilles tendon inflammation/issues. It is light weight and study. It is easy to collapse and does not take much space when collapsed. I found the assembly very difficult. This was mostly due to the limited wording or incorrect wording on the assembly instructions. I have assembled many things in my lifetime, but this one was a bit difficult. However, one person can assemble this with no problems. It is a good value for the money. I had to decide between a 6 month gym membership to use elliptical machines or to buy one for myself. I bought this. When I used it for the first time, there was a lot of squeaking. I don't know if I need to oil something, but the squeaking is not constant. Only the left side squeaked, and when it is not squeaking it is completely silent. It's a fun exercise workout, and you can push yourself to the level that is appropriate for you. I'd buy it again and recommend it for someone looking for an collapsable elliptical. This is a little bit better than an elliptical for someone with foot problems. It is lightweight but sturdy and convenient.

Sturdy, well built, not expensive.
Due to extreme weather both summer and winter now making it too hard to walk outside, we bought this Gazelle Sprinter for those bad weather days. So far, very pleased! Well-made, sturdy and not complicated to use--just good simple exercise. It took two of us 2.5 hours to assemble, and that was only because the pictures in the instructions were not clear to us. But in all, not a lot of parts and only a few screws to attach with the dreaded Allen wrench (included). Highly recommend for simple exercise.

Just a fantastic light but comprehensive exercise machine! Great!
Very well designed and constructed with care to details and the way the parts fit perfectly! Easy to assemble but please follow the directions so the initial layout of the collapsed machine is in the right orientation. Don't over tighten but tighten in incremental stages as evenly as possibly. This is no problem. As for the machine in use--it is fantastic if you want a light but thorough walking type exercise. The more you use it the more you find ways TO USE it--bending, twisting, squatting, etc. Strangely, at least for me, the time goes fast and you get your 10, 15, or 20 minutes done in a compressed time frame...For a light exercise that works arms, legs, back and chest and keeps your body loose and fit--it's great! I LOVE this machine! And for the truly fine quality the price is reasonable on Amazon! Thanks and congratulations to all parties concerned for bringing such a beautiful machine to market at a reasonable price! Amazing!

I had reservations with this purchase. I had a very good quality (and very expensive nordictrack elliptical machine which I purchased 3 years ago, and had great workouts from it). Then the nordictrack became insanely noisy: super squeaky and awful and I live in a condo and work out super early as I work earlier than most. So this caused me a huge problem. Something that expensive and of supposed high quality was toast after 3 years? And no, the white lithium grease couldn’t even solve the problem) so when they tried to sell me a new 3k + machine, I thought No Way. So I looked for alternatives. This is much much simpler, and lighter, wasn’t sure it could compare in anyway as the other one had hill resistance etc. but actually I really love this thing. And I’m in pretty good shape: this does provide great cardio for advanced people (and would work for newbies too): you get what you put in. So it doesn’t auto push you like a program will on a Nordic track, but you can do that on your own, and if you exercise regularly, you will as you want your regular results. The biggest plus of this is the range, you can glide your legs with a much longer stride than you can on any other cardio equipment so you stretch your legs too, I feel fabulous afterwards, and it’s much easier on knees (I don’t have knee problems, but on occasion felt it pull a bit uncomfortably with the nordictrack) whereas with this one, I don’t. You can also go lower and do more of a squat glide, and the other formats (they give you a poster, which I didn’t need, but it’s a nice touch) and just reminds you to vary it up. All I all, this is gentler on the body than other cardio pieces and if you’re dedicated to get in a good workout and push yourself, this thing is awesome. And quiet. No squeaking from this design and not a massive weight like the others either. I’m very pleasantly surprised and so glad I purchased this. Worth every penny. Love it. Thank you!

I was very sceptical because of the reviews for this company I can honestly say that they have been first class, in how fast the item arrived, three days earlier than expected. Also the item is just what I hoped for, I had a Gazelle a few years ago and nothing comes close to the quality I would highly recommend the company and the Gazelle👍

I bought this for my mother as her knees are bad and she has trouble on the treadmill. she loves it! no impact on her legs , she gets a nice work out she said , its quiet, folds up and away, she uses it on plush carpet with no tipping or problems.

I had a Gazelle about 25 years ago and enjoyed it but over time one part wore out. I recently saw it for sale and ordered it. I enjoy the motion and as a senior I find it a perfect workout and easy on my joints. It folds up easily. My husband who is a runner also uses it. I put my earbuds in and listen to music and time goes by quickly. I am so happy with the Gazelle.

This is the best machine to purchase that is easy on the joints. It is easy to use and gives resistance when you want it. No concerns.
