(I believe them that it didn’t work for them, not sure if the got a bad bulb or maybe incompatible with their fixture)For me this did work, exactly as advertised. I got annoyed calling the landlord to keep replacing the CFL, I’m guessing it’s a heat build up. Hoping this LED runs cooler and longer.I also like the instant-on feature.I LOVE that you don’t have to change the ballast, which I wouldn’t do.The only wish is that I could slightly rotate the bulb’s directional beam. The pins are symmetric so you can choose 1 of 2 orientations, 180 degrees apart. But the socket isn’t parallel to the floor, maybe a 45 degree angle, so the patch of light doesn’t point straight down. It’s still works, still get plenty of light. The fixture’s diffuser helps mitigate the affect.
