How fresh are these pecans?

The pecans were wonderful. Thin shell and delicious nut meats. I will order again.

Can someone give me an idea of how many pecasns are in the 5lb bag?

I just received my 5 lb. bag and it contained exactly 230 pecans. I was concerned considering the bag was advertised as being from the 2019 crop (it's currently 09/2020) but they looked and tasted good so far.

What season are the pecans harvested and at their freshest ?

Pecan harvest begins late October and these pecans stay fresh in cool storage at our farm well into the spring.

I find eating plenty of nuts during the previous Christmas, New Year, Kwanzaa has been a bit much and brought allergic reactions more than I have ever experienced with nuts. They were delicious otherwise, plum and hardly any spoiled pecans.
