Beautiful, very light appliance, I let you know when I use it.

It makes great grilled cheese sandwiches. I am just in love with it. I can make a quick grilled cheese sandwich whenever I want or I can do a ham and cheese. You won’t be sorry if you get this.

After 35 years off searching I found one. My 3 star rating is becouse I could show my wife that I had one in 3rd world country as a child , and I finaly found it in US . BY THE WAY SLOTS ARE TO SMALL TO MAKE HOT SANDWICH

The media could not be loaded.  I got this toaster today. I left it to slow toast for exactly one hour and my grilled cheese came out looking like charcoal. Smoke detectors have been going off for nearly 50 minutes. How am I expected to eat this?Just kidding. This toaster doesn’t take an hour - It toasts perfectly grilled cheese in just minutes. It actually works great. One thing I would say is just try to keep anything you would put in your sandwich from touching the heating elements and remain within the provided baskets and it won’t start smoking on ya. I learned that back in toaster school 101. I found the slots to be adequate for toasting two regular sized slices of bread (about one half inch or one centimeter depending on your religion) with two slices of cheese in the middle. Tomorrow I’m going to go out on a limb and throw in a tomato in the middle. Wish me luck. I’ll get back to y’all with my results. I’m pretty stoked I found this cause at the moment i believe it’s the most affordable toaster on Amazon and also I love grilled cheese. Gotta go toast toast!Bobby*Update: It can handle a grilled cheese with 2 slices of 1/8” thin sliced tomato laid side by side. This is a whole nother level of awesomeness.*Update 2: After 1 week, the lettering stamped on the toaster for toast settings rubs off with the slightest touch. It’s like the ink is poor quality . I’m reducing my review to 4 stars for this. Still a good toaster for the money

Shipping was all mess up.... And late.

I got this as a replacement for my last yellow toaster. Although its not the exact color I was wanting and is a brighter yellow, it's fine. I like that it comes with the sandwich holders and the crumb catcher. It can sometimes take a couple tries to push it down. But overall for what you get I think it's worth it. I feel like some acetone is all you would need to remove the corny writing on the side but I haven't tried yet.

Very easy to use and it delivers a quality product. Nostalgia makes cool products.

It is somewhat misleading that this toaster is sold on Amazon uk. I should have noted the absence of UK reviews but was so happy to have found this toaster that I did not pay attention. So here is the first and probably last review from the UK: the toaster cannot be used in UK unless one is prepared to spend an additional £100 for a current converter. It comes with a US plug for a start, which per se is not a big deal as one can purchase a cheap travel adaptor for less that £10. However, and this is a big however, as this is an appliance, not a gadget, that can only be plugged into an American 120V socket, one needs a “step down” converter too to plug it in into a UK 240V wall socket. And a big converter too as this is an appliance that is a 600w power. These converters are big, heavy and bulky… finding the space for it is not easy or aesthetically pleasing.. even before factoring in that buying one will set you back another £90 at least (the cheaper ones are for appliances only up to 200w approx.) I wish the listing for this toaster had made it more obvious that this was not a toaster for the UK market. A great pity that this is the case because the toaster is lovely even if made entirely of plastic. I cannot comment on its other functions as I have not been able to plug it in.

Its not thin the sandwich fits easily and toasts well ,It is very good
