I bought this for my father inlaw when he had a stroke and it changed the way how he got treated in the hospital after he got his stroke the first day the doctor dont know how much damage the stroke caused so they treat the patient like if they have severe brain damage and once i realize he was mentally there but was fully paralizyed on one side of his body so he cant speak or use arm or leg on the right side of the body and at first i would tell him one finger for yes and two finger for no with his left hand and when i told the doctor i created a system to talk to him he looked at me like i was making shit up and he said to me his hands is doing some form of a muscle spasm. It really upset me so i went out and got him this device and a training ball i used the ball to train his finger and hand strength first and in two days he was able to click the button no problem. The yes and no button are on top which make it way easier to talk so when the doctor came back and he used the remote to communicate back with the doctor there was absolute no doubt in the doctor mind that he was there and they immediately started recovery treatment and every nurse and doctor that see him use this device asked me where i got it and how every stroke patient should have this device. It dose all the necessary question to get by to live more comfortable and not feel helpless for people who loose there voice!!! This absolute changed my father inlaw life and still helps him today and now hes in one the best rehab where i live because how easy it is for them to communicate with him If your loved one or anyone you know loose there speech absolute buy this and you wont regret it !!!! I have a teenaged stepson who has Autism, and is completely nonverbal. I got him this for Christmas, as he’s never taken to any of the speech apps on his tablet. He LOVES this! Although we are still learning to use it for specific needs, the buttons are fun for him- he loves that it makes noise, and everything is said very clearly through the device. Good sturdy quality, functions just as would expect, and super easy/simple! We LOVE it!! :)

This isn’t exactly the kind of product I ever hoped to need, but when my mom had a stroke that left her unable to communicate, I bought this device along with some cards featuring pictures and words. Honestly, I was shocked the stroke unit at her hospital didn’t already have something like this on hand — but hey, that’s the American healthcare system for you! Long story short, my mom is doing much better now — talking, walking, and no longer needing this device. However, during the tough time we did use it, I was grateful for it. The prompts could be a bit more mature (they lean a little kiddo-oriented), but in a pinch, it was far better than nothing. It did the job when we needed it most.

Quality in size is perfect size is perfect. It’s durable and easy to use distracts our granddaughter from grabbing our remote.

I have non-verbal twin sons that just turned 4 years old recently and they have hardly ever spoken and any few words that they may have actually tried to make were baby talk basically. I've had to watch their body language and behaviors to determine what they want and I could tell they could understand me, but they never really had any verbal communication at all, whatsoever. Immediately after handing them these they started communicating with me and with each other. I thought maybe I was imagining it at first, but I started asking them questions and they started answering me! It's been several hours now and I am convinced that they are using these to talk to me and with each other. This is the first back and forth communication I have ever had with him for their entire lives. I cannot even begin to describe what I'm feeling right now. One of them keeps reaching for my phone as I typed this review and I keep pulling the phone away and he turned around and found one of these on the ground and walked up to me and started pressing "please". I was having doubts that these kids would ever be able to answer a question and they did today. Every question I asked basically. I don't care if they ever speak, I am so relieved to know they can communicate.

I got this hoping it would be a good tool for some of my students, but's it's really not appropriate for an emerging communicator. The messages are way to long like "I'm feeling happy" "I'm feeling hungry" "I'd like to listen to music." When working with emerging communicators, therapists need to focus on concise messages "happy" "eat" "music." I'd consider using this more if the messages were even a bit shorter like "I'm happy" "I want to eat" "I want music". It feels like this was developed without consulting a speech therapist.

Great sound with clear speech. Device seems durable and well made- not hollow like many inexpensive devices. It came with batteries already installed which was a huge plus and even came with a screwdriver to be able to change the batteries later. I was exited about it this because I had been looking to buy a screwdriver small enough to change the batteries in some of our other devices around the house. Very generous and thoughtful to include that! I did put blue permanent marker over some of the buttons in the video- it did not come like that. I will be going over it with black marker as I’m trying to simplify it as much as possible for my nonverbal, developmentally delayed child. I am excited to try this device and see how he uses it over time!

Well made product but only suited to very specific needs. The sentences were too long for my child (and saying bathroom instead of toilet), I just wanted 1 word not a whole phrase (see video - I couldn’t find one online before I purchased). All are fixed recordings and can’t be changed, product seemed great, portable, and easy to use. I returned it as didn’t suit our needs but would still recommend if the phrases work for whoever needs it. Hopefully in the future there will be programmable ones.

This makes life easier for autistic people when they can't say what they want to say. Good value for money and the battery lasts ages.

Great product. We bought this to try for our 6 year old non verbal son. It's a great starter device. It has the basics for his communication needs right now and is getting him used to using a device for culminating later.

Ne correspond pas à mes attentes puisque les touches ne sont re programmable Il y a confusion avec Tiny Talker too et ce Talker Boddy L’IA aussi confond et le donne programmable alors qu’il ne l’ai Pas! D’autre part les sons sont en anglais et il doit être livrable en français et ce n’est pas le cas! Je suis actuellement en discussion pour son retour avec le vendeur !
