The book came in great condition and high quality.I feel the story it self was written for younger reader as the characters themselves being teens used very teen oriented language that I found at times not enjoyable or moving as when I read Stone Blind. The plot was interesting and I really liked the alternate ending, it was refreshing retelling of the story.

I'm glad I purchased this while it was half price, because I absolutely would not spend upward of £9 on this book.I read it in about two hours (and I'm not a fast reader) - the page margins are so excessive that had it been formatted like most books it'd probably be about 80-90 pages.Story-wise I found it somewhat predictable. It broaches some mature topics but never goes in to it so the audience is definitely YA or slightly younger. The "message" of the story is quite repetitive also and it felt as though paragraphs were being recycled.If you're after an easy read then I would recommend. My three stars is mostly on the lack of content for the non-discounted price.

I never normally read books like this but I’m so glad I did, it was amazing, book arrived on time too and I loved it, I’d say it was an adult book though given some of the themes so wouldn’t purchase for anyone younger
