Natural Value Unbleached Natural Waxed Paper, 75 Square Foot Roll

My wife had bought this paper for years. The place she gets it ran out last month, so I ordered this on Amazon She was very upset when it arrived. She loves the paper, but for this cost she could have ordered four rolls.

Good paper. Works as it's supposed to.

This wax paper is thicker than I though it was going to be. I was so pleased because then when I do my crafts and set it up so I can have something to dry, I can just pull the paper just a little without it tearing. In my opinion, that is it's worth it's weight in gold!!!!! I would even refer this waxed paper to hunters if they butcher their own meat and freezing, and also canning and freezing in the fall for those that still do. I am going tobuy some more in the summer for freezing.

Seems a little weaker than the traditional one

Up until a few years ago, and thinking it was safer than plastic, I had always used wax paper to wrap sandwiches and to cover foods in the microwave. I was surprised to discover (duh!) that the wax used in traditional wax paper was petroleum based - kind of like Vaseline - and therefore NOT a healthy alternative to plastic wrap after all! This natural wax paper is vegetable based though, and I LOVE knowing I'm not infusing chemicals in to food. It costs more, but there are some things I'm willing to splurge for. A must-have in my kitchen.

Several years ago I resumed using wax paper to cut down on how much plastic we were using. After trying the natural wax paper (Natural Value) purchased from our Tallahassee coop I switched because of the unbleached quality - better yet. When our local health food stores in our Michigan location didn't carry it and couldn't locate it, I went online and ordered six. Great for wrapping sandwiches and have even gone to wax paper and rubber bands in place of plastic wrap. It has really reduced the amount of plastic wrap and baggies that we use.

Was hoping I would be able to use in oven but started smoking.

I really like this wax paper, and I have nothing to complain about it. We've used it for rolling out cookie dough, and my girlfriend also loves to use this while working with polymer clay. There seems to be a good amount in the roll, as we've used it several times, and there's a substantial amount left. Good for baking as well, as long as it's completely covered by the batter.

同じnatural value でも以前使っていたものとは別物です。薄く弱く安心して使えません。一時どこを探しても見つからなかった時、製造会社の記事だったかを見つけました。大企業に買収されたかで、大企業は家族経営で誇りを持ってつくってきたワックスペーパーなんかに興味を持ってくれません、とありました。しばらくして同じ会社名であったので購入しましたが悲しくなるぐらい質が低下していました。ただサンドイッチなどを簡単に包むには十分だと思います。私はケーキを沢山焼いて一月寝かせるのにサランラップの代わりに使っていますが、包む途中で破れることがなん度もあって困りました。

料理に使ったり、ラッピングに使ったりとっても便利です。キッチンにおいて置いてもオシャレだし。一本あると重宝しますよ。けっこうたっぷり使える量があると思います。

商品としての問題は無いのですが、使用するシチュエーションを考えると、値段がもう少し安くなるともっと実用的と思います。

かわいくて使い勝手もよかったです。だた上にはアメリカ産と書いてありますが、下の詳細には中国産・・・どっちでしょうか？中国産だったら買わなかったのに・・・。

商品説明にレンジやオーブンで飛び散るのを防ぎます…みたいな事が書いてあったので、オーブンで使用したら、天板がベトベトになりました。
