SHEIKH AL SHUYUKH LUX EDITION 100ML

This perfume improves with time. I left it after assuming it was a generic , synthetic saffron / Oud scent , then returned to spray and wow! It is a powerful, uncompromising scent that manages to fill rooms with a sweet musky undercurrent that smells expensive and works so well with other perfumes too. A bargain as this delivers a niche perfume scent for a fraction of the price.

not alcohol smell in the opening which makes it smell expensive. Very concentrated, spicy, unisex but has a sweetness so I like it as a womens perfume, but i can't lie, if I smelled this on a man I would probably fall in love.Definite cinnamon in there, very warm and slightly boozy. Very robust, not smoky, maybe a hint of smoke. It would be a good one for fans of angels share and by the fireplace. Its sweeter than both, less smoky, easier on the vanilla, a but like a boozy carrot cakeYears ago I got a sample of floris' honey oud which is £160 and i loved it but never bought it because of the price and its so powerful I couldn't imagine getting through 100ml of it, so how exciting for me to find that this smells soooo close to it for a fraction of the cost. Its uncanny, im surprised no one of fragrantica has clocked it as a dupe.

This is a real enigma to me. I first discovered this in a Souk in Morocco and tried it out. I initially hated it, too sweet and lemon zesty for me. As the day went by and it dried in the sun it suddenly turned gorgeous and i couldn't stop sniffing my wrist.It definitely has a lot more to it than the sharp lemon and honey opening, but not much. It stays incredibly sweet and there's not much else except honey and a slight woodiness with citrus. I feel you definitely have to let this one mature a while and macerate it to get rid of the sharpness. Leave it to brew a while and don't overspray it and it becomes a really divine scent that could be equally male or female friendly. If you don't like sweet it definitely isn't for you. But in my opinion its pretty unique and i've not come across anything quite like it. Thats a good thing and its pretty enigmatic i think.Do i love it or do i hate it? I always ask myself this when i wear it. If you ask that question it's usually a sign of a uniquely individual fragrance. People will either love this or hate it. I'm sure there's a big divide here. For many people it's debateable if its masculine, feminine or unisex too. I'm a man and i like it on me but would be happy with it on a woman too.Bear in mind its synthetic and cheap and cheaply packaged too so don't expect big bucks designer standards. Its a mysterious one to me and although i like it, i don't love it.A keeper for when the mood suits. Its also useful for layering with dark woody fragrances so its versatile too. For the price, its worth having if you love the smell of honey.

Lovely smell

It's very strong scent in the first few sprays. Saffron is quite bold. You have to spray it a few times and let it sit a bit. After a whole the rose scent makes an appearance and Saffron is toned down. Quite powerful and lasting. Definitely fall/winter

Such a nice smelling perfume, it’s got a nice musk smell and most importantly, it lasts really long ! M a bug fan of this perfume, for the price, this is perfect ! I’ve already purchased it twice and I will continue to ! Big bottle also and I can take one with me when I travel

Lovely scent. Great value for money. And decent size bottle. Just doesn’t last on the skin so use on clothes instead. And you don’t need a lot of it.
