Rear License Plate Bracket for 2005-2024 BMW & Mini Cooper

The original BMW bracket is cheap and awful. Holes have no reinforcement and several were stripped for me as the second owner of my 2024 X7. I was worried about fit as the 2024 wasn’t listed but the fit was perfect and the swap was no trouble. I left the OE anchors in but replaced everything else. Unlike the OE part this one has metal anchors at all six points (two to mount it, four to mount the plate). Quality screws and a driver (I didn’t use, I had this T20 hex driver) as well as the plastic mount anchors are included. Mounted quickly and perfectly, appears to be high quality and I was able to sing everything down with no issue. It has dampers like the OE part and I haven’t noticed any rattles. All around this is a high quality replacement at a very fair price. Highly recommended to correct BMW’s inexplicable cheap out on their bracket.

100% perfect fit. This part cost a fraction of an original BMW Part and its great quality, hardware included. I hope the bolts are stainless steel, or they will rust. If they do, I will modify my evaluation of the product.

Highly recommend this as a replacement over the OEM bracket from BMW. This bracket has machined holes/machined screws to secure the license plate which is better as the OEM bracket has you screw into plastic which will fail over time. Fitment is perfect, the bracket is quality for the price, and it was quick and easy to install with the included hardware. Installed on my X3 M40i.

License plate screws were corroded, couldn't remove plate from the original bracket. This replacement bracket solved the problem.

The stock bracket was extremely flimsy and the screws were useless. I couldn’t swap out the dealer frame for a new frame as a result. The Podestaa bracket is great! It fits perfectly and is much sturdier than the stock bracket. The bracket and screws are quality. It took two minutes to replace. I would recommend this to anyone with a new bmw.

This license plate frame bracket fit good on my 2012 mini cooper coupe, however when i removed my plate to clean underneath during a detail the screw broke off in the bracket so i now only have 3 screws to hold my plate on

Fit perfect on my 2019 BMW 540i. The dealer I bought my BMW from (not a BMW dealer) managed to mangle the threads for the license plate by screwing non-metric license plate screw into them. I didn't notice this until I went to put my new plates on. I ordered this one (The dealership also reimbursed me) and got it overnight and it was a PREFECT fit for the OEM bracket.

I've installed the frame on my 2017 X3 without any issues. I noticed a review that said the frame didn't fit Canadian Licenses perfectly but it was an exact fit for my Ontario plate and my vehicle. Some reviews said that rust could bleed from the metal parts so I sealed these with gorilla tape before installation. I also used anti-seize on the license mount screws to avoid the problem I had with the OEM mount screws seizing up. In summary, this mounting plate is an excellent alternative to the BMW OEM replacement which is $70 in Canada.

Good quality, looks just like oem, bracket is the softer type plastic, not the brittle stuff so should be good in all weather. My e90 was missing the expandable nuts that fit into the trunk for the screws to fasten to, this kit includes it, perfect. As others have mentioned, the license plate screws are too short to add a cover on top of the plate, but otherwise all good.
