New 2023 Bark Box Anti Barking Device and Neighbors Dog Silencer 50 Ft - 3 Levels Bark Box Anti Bark Device, Stop Barking Dog Devices. Ultrasonic Dog Bark

I have a neighbor who recently bought two annoying dogs that bark all the time in their backyard. Whenever I go to my backyard, they bark like crazy. I bought this silencer in hopes that this might control and stop their barking. Forget it, it doesn't work at all. I turned this silencer to the maximum distance of 50 feet and they continue barking. Also, this unit sucks up battery power like an alcoholic to a bottle of vodka. It uses a 9 volt alkaline battery and in less than 2 weeks, the battery is dead. Just put in another 9 volt and it died too. Biggest piece of useless junk that uses battery power in no time. Don't waste your time or money.

So it is listed in the description, but, I was not aware of how small it was. I expected something brick sized and it is in fact pager sized. That out of the way, this device does not work. The neighbors dog is constantly barking and I have it set on the highest setting. Additionally, the battery seems to drain very fast I have had it for about a month and I’ve changed the 9v battery twice (Duracell brand). I have not tested this device indoors but do not think it serves well as an outdoor resolution.

First when we got this we were shocked. We expected this huge box but it was a tiny little box only a few inches wide. We placed it in the fence pointing at the neighbors dog pen.We just moved into our new house in Puerto Rico. We have 6 foot concrete fence around our yard. The German Shepard next door is penned up 25 hours a day. He is fed, but I have never seen him walked, pet or given any attention. It is very sad to see. His pen is about 15 feet long and 6 feet wide. He barks all day and night and our bedroom is nearby and was keeping us up all night. By day, my coworkers can hear him on ZOOM. I don’t k ow how my neighbors can stand it but they just let him howl 24/7. We were pondering how to go talk to the neighbor when my friend suggested this box.Within 3 days the barking has been reduced significantly. We can sleep through the night and sit in our backyard and talk without constant barking.The dog does bark, but he quiets down very quickly.All I can hope is this will last.

I ordered two of these bark boxes. The first one didn’t work, so I tried another before writing a bad review. Neither of them worked. Not for the neighbors dogs. Not for my dog. Not inside, and not outside. Also, when I purchase the item, it was a prime item. When I went to return the item, it conveniently went from a prime item to a item that will take 30 days to get a refund on after they receive the return. That’s ridiculous also. I do not recommend this seller. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, I AM STILL WAITING ON MY REDUND FOR 2nd BOX

Item is easy to set up and runs on a 9 volt battery not included. Three levels of silencing. Flashing light attracts my dog. Seemed to work for the first day but my dog is too smart and doesn't seem to mind the sound it emits, he continues to bark. Tried indoors and out of doors same issue. Did not work for my dog.

It worked well for about one week and then the wire inside that connects to the battery broke and this became useless. For $35, this was extremely cheaply made and very over priced. The return window was only 30 days and I forgot to try to return product before the return window closed. Very disappointed.

Let me preface this review by stating I have a pack of crazed, rescue dogs and Jack Russells who bark at any and everything…including molecules🙄. It’s a pack mentality and absolutely ridiculous. I’ve worked with a dog trainer but the barking continues. It’s like living with 10 small sirens who mill about the house ready to sound off in simultaneous panicked screams of alarm at the mere suggestion of an audible noise. Sounds like a thin slice of heaven doesn’t it? 😵‍💫Most of the time the worst offenders wear expensive/effective anti-bark collars—but they chewed those up. In an effort to give said gnawed collars a rest, I thought this anti-bark box might help with “crowd control” group barking/choir rehearsals when doorbell rings or someone 5 houses down closes car door.Let’s just say I was NOT expecting miracles out of bark box. The same way I know my $25 moisturizer is not going to help me look “ just like Cindy Crawford.” To that end, I did expect SOMETHING in the form of a reaction from a few of my more intelligent dogs when the barking ensued. A curious head turn. A surprised look. A run for the doggie door. Blank expressions was more like it. Not one of my 10 dogs was phased in the least by ultrasonic sound despite light blinking to denote tiny box is emitting a mysterious frequency perhaps only Jesus can hear. Adding insult to injury, my French Bulldog began barking at the blinking light while terriers cheered her on.While the bulk of the reviews were positive, let’s start with the fact the box is no bigger than a Fig Newton. Seriously. It’s so small. Small as in ridiculously small.I’m not sure how much room is actually necessary for ultra sonic sound thingie to do what it needs to do …but come on! The damn thing is no bigger than a KCup. See Pictures exhibit A.And while it boasts on the packaging that tiny box emitting an “ultrasonic sound to deter nuisance barking” and it’s “durable” I highly doubt it. It’s made of cheap plastic and looks more like a prize from a cereal box than a dog training aid. Not that it needs to be huge, but for $34, I was expecting something a bit more believable. Even the dogs looked skeptical.And lastly, I read the directions 2 times and made my husband read them again to ensure we were operating tiny box correctly. At one point, I placed box in the floor and watched in horror as the terriers surround it and began circling in manner of satanic ritual. Not to be left out, the Frenchie joined in and started barking at it…then terriers started barking… all while the bark controller sat there mocking my poor financial choices and impulse buying on Amazon.I’m sure it works in some households where there’s a chatty Goldendoddle. But not here at the threshold of terrier HELL.

i bought this long ago. i saw it on tiktok and decided to purchase it. it does not work at all. i don't know if i got defective piece. but it doesn't do anything for my dogs barking.

Did not work, did not get the dog's attention. Save your money
