Controller Gel, Styling Hair Gel for Defining And Sculpting without Stiffness or Crunch, 200ml

This is a really good Styling Hair Gel which my hairdresser uses on my hair when I am having my hair done and if he recommends it that’s good enough for me.

My favourite Controller Gel by Matrix and I always keep a tube in hand so I'm never caught out. It works well on my fine hair without being tacky or greasy and gives just enough support to stop it flying all over the place but still looking natural. I rub a very small amount onto the palm of my hands and barely touching my hair gloss over the finished blow. Stops the static and keeps the style without resorting to strong sprays, although I do use a quick, from a distance, spray of a strong hold spray on my double crown to stop it creating its own 'parting'. My other secret is once I leave the house never to check my hair again. Enjoy my time out much better and I do get home still looking reasonable! Smell is minimal and doesn't compete with my perfume. also it is reasonably rices in the later shops.

I prefer using a homemade whipped Shea butter blend to slick and tame roots when hairs in Senegalese twists and braids. That being said this has been great on the front of braids that are a more prone to frizz. My hair type is dry curly, and my edges are the coarsest part of my hair, so I use this after spraying hair with leave in and applying mousse if I don’t have time/energy to redo the front of my hair. Then I tie down a head scarf for a while before I leave. I also like that you don’t have to dip your fingers in a tub and it taste up less shelf space. I haven’t noticed any breakage or anymore build up than usual.

Great for my hair.

A little expensive. I really liked this product for, definition, hold, no sticky feeling and lasts especially paired with a mouse. I can go almost a week without washing if I wear my hair in a bonnet for bed. I used a 50p sized blob after applying mouse on soaking wet hair, brushing it through with a definition brush called bouncecurl. It has a nice smell. Highly recommend.

Review from my husband: This is a really nicely fragranced hair product and it comes in a really striking container, big like 80’s wallpaper. It's 200ml so is quite a big bottle and it is a gel. It's not too runny and I’m not sure what it is like on shorter hair but I don’t think it's suitable for those with longer hair as the instant grab isn’t there, like say if you were using a wax product. I've tried using it on my twin boys too and it just flops down. I've tried using it on myself a couple of times, but as I say it doesn't have that initial grab and I found it very hard to define anything with it. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it's too sloppy for my liking because a larger amount is required and you just end up with a wet head and it takes too long to go off. 3/5

Really good product for my fine hair .my haur dresser uses it in the salon.so thought I would give it a whirl .Really easy to use not greasy . great volume and hold

Na wat zoeken naar een product dat niet meer te verkrijgen is, vond ik deze haargel. Ik ben er super tevreden mee! Mijn haar blijft langer in vorm. Een echte aanrader!
