Great automatic water dispenser with stainless-steel bowl for our little cat
This is a nice automatic water dispenser for our cat. The stainless-steel bowl looks great and is super easy to clean. It shows no signs of rusting after more than 8 months of use. The size is perfect for our one small cat. It would probably last for more than 2 weeks at least before it ran dry. I refill it more frequently than that though. It's easy to fill. A full bottle is not very heavy or awkward to handle. The dispenser keeps the water at an ideal level. It never overflows or gets too low. The dispenser is attractive. It looks great next to our automatic feeder. Our cat really loves whenever I refill this thing. She seems fascinated by the bubbles and burbling sound it makes as the water fills the empty bowl.

I love this thing
This is possibly the best pet related thing I've ever bought. One day, after refilling my dogs' water bowl five times, I decided there had to be a better way. And there is! This is the way! They're never thirsty and I can go do anything else since I'm not playing water monitor all day. Buy it! You won't regret it. Zero regrets.

Perfect for large dogs
LOVE this water bowl!! Works perfectly for our large golden and we dont have to fill up nearly as often. Just make sure to wash the stainless steal bowl and underneath. If you dont, mildew and mold tends to grow.

Smaller than expected but works great
My Golden retriever likes it! He hates it when hair gets in his water so I am thinking that tha smaller bowl size might help keep it cleaner. It is advertised bigger than it is though, so if your dog likes a bigger bowl id pass on this one. The mechanism to keep the water in the container while you tip it upside down to place it on the water bowl works great- no water splashed anywhere!

Holds Plenty of Water—Great Peace of Mind!
This Dog Water Dispenser has been a game changer for our household! We have large dogs, and this holds plenty of water to keep them hydrated throughout the day without constantly needing refills. It’s especially perfect when we have to leave our dogs overnight. We feel so much better knowing they have a steady supply of fresh water while we’re away. The design is simple, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.We love it so much that we ended up buying a second one! If you have larger dogs or just want peace of mind when you’re not home, I highly recommend this dispenser.

These work for cats!
I bought several of these (indoor and outdoor) to keep several cats "watered" while I was on a 3 day business trip (a friend stopped by to fill the food deal with litter boxes). I can say they work wonderfully! I had some initial concerns that the bowl may be too high for cats, and especially kittens (yep, have several) but no problem! Even the kittens were able to drink from them just fine. These are very easy to use. Just fill the bottle with water, screw on the top, flip it over and drop it on the circular plastic tray fitting. One surprise: for some reason some of the cats use these as "paw washes"! I've seen them do it several times and it leaves a small amount of dirt and litter in the bottom of the tray. So plan on dumping and washing your tray daily if you have a lot of cats, but it is easy to do. Like ANY cat water dish, you need to wash the tray and the removable plastic circle in the tray it fits into with soap every 3 days or so or it will form a slick biofilm from their saliva. While considering buying these I stressed a bit over what size to buy. I bought a 6L and two 8L units. Both worked just fine for a 3-day trip. The 8L was only 1/2 emptied, the 6L about 2/3 empty. Note that the 8L bottle is rather heavy when full, which is another concern. A gallon jug of water is 3.8 liters, so 8L is like carrying two-gallon water jugs at the same time. EDIT 7/15/24 just occurred to me while filling one with water that any of these sizes can be just partially filled, such as 4 or 6 gal of water int the 8 gal, to keep the weight down but yet save the *option* for adding more on a long trip. I also forgot to say that for the 3-day trip I used a small piece of duct tape to tape the top of the water bottle to nearby table leg, etc. to prevent the inevitable male cat fight from knocking it over. The bottle is pretty secure with the water weight, at least until nearly empty, buy hey boy cats can knock anything over lol. ALL IN ALL, RECOMMENDED!!! No electric power required.

Finally found what I was looking for
I have always used those automatic water dispensers as I have a cat and a dog who both drink a ton of water. I didn't want to have to keep refilling a bowl several times a day. However, I could only find the plasic basin ones in a big enough size. I hates how gross and dirty they always got. You could never clean them properly and all the mineral deposits would build up on the inside. I'm sure it got very unhygenic. All of the water dispensers with a metal basin that I looked at had such a small water jug. I would still be filling it daily. This one comes in a perfect size that allows me to only have to fill it about once a week. The bowl is incredibly easy to clean. And the best part is that its so simple to fill. No more water spillage like the other dispensers as you don't need to flip the whole thing upside-down. No water comes out as there is a plunger to stop the flow until it gets compressed in the water basin once you set it in.Highly recommend this item.

Good Water Dispenser, But Cleaning and Design Flaws Need Addressing
I've been using the RIZZARI 8L Automatic Pet Waterer for several months now for my two dogs and two cats, and overall, it's a decent product with a few caveats. It does what it's supposed to: provides a constant supply of filtered water. The large capacity is great, meaning I don't have to refill it constantly, which is a big plus with multiple pets. One of the things I appreciate is that it filters the water. I also like the transparent design, which makes it easy to see when it's time for a refill. The stainless steel bowl is also a good feature; it's durable and easy to wipe clean. However, there are a couple of things I've had to work around. My large dog tends to make a mess when drinking, splashing water everywhere. To mitigate this, I added a large, flat river rock to the bowl, which surprisingly helps a lot. It limits the amount of water he can get at once, and it's easy to sanitize along with the bowl. While the splashing is likely a common issue with large dogs, it's something to consider. I also use a smaller litter box underneath the dispenser to catch any drips and protect my hardwood floors. The biggest issue I have is with the design of the dispenser itself. There are two small, unenclosed areas (one on each side) that collect water and are incredibly difficult to clean thoroughly. These are essentially little bowls with very sharp corners, making them nearly impossible to reach and properly sanitize. This is a major design flaw, as it can become a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. These areas need to be enclosed and sealed for better hygiene. Additionally, the little rubber "feet" that came with the dispenser for traction fell off long ago and didn't last.Despite these cleaning and design issues, the RIZZARI waterer is still functional for my needs. The large capacity and filtration system are definite positives. However, potential buyers should be aware of the difficult-to-clean areas and be prepared to find solutions for splashing if they have a messy drinker. If RIZZARI addresses these design flaws, especially the cleaning issue by enclosing and sealing those areas, it would be a much-improved product.

Excellent Large Automatic Water Dish
I was slightly concerned when I first realized that the way this dispenses water is that when its flipped and you rest the cap of the bottle into the filter, its by pressure. The cap has a spring that is compressed when the bottle is heavy (full of water) and then it allows the water it into the filter which then trickles into the dish. It's so smart. Especially because any other of these I've used, the caps are open so you have to quickly flip them and you'll likely have water everywhere. This isn't like that. The cap didn't leak. It only released water once I put it on the filter. And the water doesn't overfill, the filter seems to have a sensor of sorts.I ALSO NEED TO SAY I was annoyed at first that its a shallow filler. BUT thats kind of the best because it means the water will be more fresh. I have a girl who likes fresh water and is PICKY (same) but shes been happily drinking from this. So I'm glad its the way it is.I would warn that it's not locked into place at all. The bottle rests in the dish on top of the filter so that the pressure cap can do its thing. So make sure this isnt in a prime knock over zone or where your pet usually has zoomies. But that being said it's sturdy.Purchased for my large (well small large, 55-65lbs) dog: mutt mix of shepherd - lab - bully. This thing is PERFECT the only way it could be better, is if it was electric and cooled the water but it's always inside and we have AC for the summer hot months.I was specifically looking for one with a stainless steel dish and that would hold at least a few days of water (my girl drinks as much as I do I swear) so 8L will probably get her through 4-7 days depending on thirst level.

No regrets
Was really skeptical at first because I wasn’t sure if it was going to arrive looking like the picture but it did! Super high quality water bowl. Got it because I needed a stainless steel bottom as my dog was getting acne, its the first day of having it so won’t be able to tell if it’s going to help but I’m sure it will. The water bottle is huge and can’t fill it up directly from a sink, but it’s not an issue at all, you just have to fill it with bottles of water. I have a big 5l bottle of water that I filled and used that to fill the big 8l.It came with a handy little brush to clean it with!

Doesn’t drip!
Wish it came in larger sizes for my large dog! I love that it doesn’t drip when you fill, invert and carry the tub over to the holder like other similar items. Looks nice too and not as utilitarian as others. Happy with it - wish they’d make one double the capacity.
