All portafilters should come with a dosing funnel, but that’s just my opinion. This dosing funnel is sleek and sturdy. It has been a game changer for dosing my shots. It stuck on well since it’s magnetized. Easy to remove and clean.

I put off purchasing this item due to the cost but finally after unsuccessfully finding work around I went ahead and ordered it and I’m so glad I did. Don’t hesitate to buy it.. I have a lot less mess on the countertop! L O L

I used this for a few months, the issue is that it takes up space within the portafilter cup so when you pull it off, there is a deep ring of empty space around the outside. This also does not allow for leveling, or tamping while on the portafilter. The good thing is that it made it easier to get my grounds into the basket. I would add the grounds, use the wire distributor, then I would have to tap the portafilter on the counter to get the level low enough as to not overflow when removing this dosing funnel. After that I evened out the grounds with my finger, and then tamped. If I had to purchase again, I would get a different one.
