Bayron wired door chime
Bought to replace my very old chime which dinged but didn't dong.Very easy to install with three wiring options, with clear instructions.A nice chime sound, small chime box, plain wipe easy case. Affordable.Definitely recommend.

Nice compact doorbell chime
I brought this to add to my Hikvision doorbell camera which was installed easily and quickly. My only gripe is it is not as loud as I had hoped but does the job perfectly well. The Hikvision video doorbell uses a 24v transformer and this operates with no problems on this, so should work with Ring products also.

Easy to fit, loud enough
Some reviewers have said this bell is a bit quiet but it's plenty loud enough for this house. Unit is smaller than the bell that it was replacing so needed a bit of touch-up on the wall that had been covered by the previous bell (had an unrealistic expectation that bells were a standard size).Previous bell had 4 C size batteries, this uses a much smaller 9v PP3 battery so time will tell if that doesn't last as well.

No fuss, good value, simple ding dong bell
It is fairly lightweight but sounds out strongly which is what you want. You simply add a 9 volt battery and attach two wires and a bell push and off you go. Separating the two halves to fit the battery was the hardest bit of fitting it. I would say it is cheap and cheerful and very good value for money.

Fine but not for me - a little too tinny
This is really quite small - 120mm x 80mm - so looks very neat. The electro-mechanical striking mechanism is good and it is loud and very clear. Most people would probably think it fine. However, I will not be using it as I find the chime strident and tinny. I also bought the Byron 772 at the same time which is a little less strident. Comparing the inners, the chime plates in the 771 are smaller than those in the 772, hence the tinnier sound. Unfortunately the 772 isn't a great deal better. Both have a sound far less mellow than the 20 year old set I am replacing (it has yellowed) which has much larger & thicker chime plates. As I may have to live with the new doorbells for another 20 years, I wont be using the 771 or the 772 but will try to find something more like the old one.For information, I am installing two wired electro-mechanical chimes in parallel in different parts of the house. Both will chime at the same time when operated by a Spore LED bell push which I have ordered from the US. Spore recommend use with an electro-magnetic chime as the LED may not work with some electronic chimes. To drive 2 chimes and the LED I need more power so I am using an 8v 2amp transformer (Klingeltrafo 4/8/12V 2A /1,5A) fitted inside the consumer unit.

I replaced old grime door bell, to clean white box
Does the job replaced older box, do note this is much smaller than some old style door bells. Easy to put up so far so good.

Waste of money
Useless. Doesn't come with wire (despite being described as "wired". As someone else on here has said, you only get one of the notes (just a bong with no bing!). I live in a small house so don't mind it being quiet but with only one note it's impossible to hear it.

Sturdy but tricky to install
I have been working on a DIY project recently to create an annex on the side of my house and needed a door bell chime and this one fit the spec I was looking. It does the job and is very sturdy but I found it really confusing to install (and usually I’m very good with this kind of thing!). Think the instructions could be a bit better but I got there in the end!

Not for the hearing challenged
This audio volume of this doorbell makes its usefulness questionable in any but the quietest environment, by people with normal to excellent hearing. If you are even slightly hearing challenged, seek other resources.

Consigliato

Laute Hausklingel. Einfache Installation
Deckel wieder drauf. Klingel klingelt. PS: bin ne Frau, Anfang 40. Also wirklich machbar :-)
