As I've come to expect UAG manufacturer good quality cases.This case showcases that with it offering a snug fit on all four edges.The cut outs are precise and the volume buttons and power button very responsive.It's very comfortable to hold. i.e no Sharpe edges or corners.The sPen is easy to remove due to the way the case has been made with a step cutout.It's grippy due to the honeycomb cut sides and I just love the aesthetics on the back i.e the red accents and kevlar inlays along with the UAG Branding.The camera cut outs are precise and individually cut. So no lazy large cut out for the camera module on this case.This case in no way interferes with photo's taken with or without the flash.The raised lip around the front display is ample to stop the screen touching a surface if it's laid face down.The magsafe design on the back is very nice.So far I have purchased an anker 321 magsafe battery which works well as a top up my phone's battery option.I've also purchased a magsafe stand that allows me to place my phone on a level surface to watch media in portrait or landscape mode.Does this affect the sPen usage while an accessory is attached ? Yes..... but not in a massive way. When using the sPen in the area where the accessory is fitted you may find the Spen is hit and miss when writing etc however it will work but not as fluidly with no accessory fitted.If no accessory is fitted then the case in no way affects the usage of your sPen.The case isn't a cheap option but compared to a possible repair bill if the phone suffers an accidental bump it's well worth the price.

My short history with UAG.I first brought a case for my Samsung s7 Edge (which at the time, I was so scared of breaking, due to the edges being the screen) and it was amazing, then I got a cheap Huawei phone and again brought a UAG case. These cases are so tough and rugged. As I rarely buy new phones. Maybe 1 every 4 years or so, and these cases last me the whole 4 years with still enough life left in them to have the phone as a spare around the house.Why do I buy this expensive phone case?I quickly found that if I brought this brand of case I didn't have to buy expensive phone insurance. So naturally when I got a brand new, expensive flag ship phone, I knew I had to get a UAG case.The productI got the Monarch Pro as I liked the idea of the magnetic back and wow it was so worth it! I also brought a magnetic power brick and eventually a magnetic phone holder for the car, which just makes life so much easier. The product itself is very strong and sturdy a lot better quality then previous UAG cases I've had in the past. Very sturdy, robust and ready to be abused as I use this phone as my daily driver. The magnetic back is also perfect, very strong and doesn't effect the phone in any way. Also the pattern on the sides of the case gives it a lot of grip.DurabilityI know these cases are built to last as I've owned the cheaper UAG cases for previous phones and they had survived drops, throws, drunken adventures and being in my pocket (which sounds obvious but I previously had a camera smash from being in my pocket due to me working on building sites). This case also has a raised lip around the case on the front, which does mean most if not all tempered glass screen protectors won't fit, but honestly you don't need it, as I've found in my past 7 years plus of owning UAG phone cases I've never smashed the screen. And believe me I'm more stunned then you!My improvement on the caseThe only improvement I made to the case was to buy a sticker with a tab on it to cover the charger port, on the bottom of the phone, under the case so I can have a little cover for my charger port. Which in my eyes is better then if it came on the case, as if the tab on the sticker rips off, I can just put another one onThe priceThese cases are expensive but it is a hell of a lot cheaper then spending £££ a month on insurance that you might never use! And when you do use it the price goes up.Recommendation/ verdictHonestly I couldn't recommend this product enough. Its a high quality, Durable product that will last you. Its hard wearing and will help to keep your phone safe. Even the screen is hard to break due to the raised lips on the edges.Overall I would give this a 9.5 out of 10, as I would like some sort of option for a case with a cover but I have sorted out the problem myself so I don't need it. But I know a lot of my builder friends see the missing dust cap as a massive negative.The photos are bad, took them on the work phone. But hopefully you get the idea, this case was brought back in February.

I really like the case. The quality is good, fitment is good, and it looks good. The buttons (volume and power) aren't overly easy to push, but I prefer that to be honest to prevent any accidental volume adjustments or screen activations.All the cut outs are nice and accurate, maximum coverage over the camera area (not just one big cutout), I like the little bumps on the rear corners so the case sits raised slightly when laying flat on a desk, limits the case suffering any unnecessary abrasions or scratches just through being lay down. It also has nice lips to protect the front side of the screen on the top and bottom edges of the case, however the curved edges of the screen do feel really exposed.Plenty of clearance for screen protectors. I'm using a Whitestone dome glass with no issues whatsoever, and I am also using the spigen camera covers/protectors with no issues.Considering the case has a rugged look and industrial design, it surprisingly adds very little bulk to the overall feel of the phone and certainly doesn't make the phone feel heavy. It feels reasonably nice to hold, if not a bit "blocky", but it's nice and textured and doesn't feel slippy.The corners of the case seem to be made of a more dense tpu type material which doesn't feel like it would chip/scratch/damage easily if the phone was dropped, however there are some more shiny/hard plastic design feature on the back of the phone which might be more prone to scratches etc through general wear and tear over time, or through being dropped.As much as I like the case, the reason I have only scored 4 stars as opposed to 5, is because I think it is ridiculously expensive for what it is, and I think you are definitely paying for the UAG name. Granted, it protecting an expensive phone, but there is nothing novel or complex about the case design which anywhere near justifies the cost in my opinion, however it is priced in line with similar offerings from mous for example.

It's been 1 year. I have been using this case; it has always protected my phone, and it looks awesome and is really easy to take on and off. The magnetic charger works perfectly. I can feel the phone is bigger, but I love that look 😍
