Scratch on glass
This is a very good clock. I set it up and it corrected the time within minutes. The adjustment to summer time was straightforward. It’s easy to read. The only downside is that there is a scratch on the face of a very expensive wall clock.

Add battery and forget about it
You pop the battery in, the hands will perform a full revolution and stop at 12:00. Leave it for a while to lock on the radio signal (you might have to leave it next to a window if you have thick walls so that it sets itself quicker), sometimes it takes a minute or two, sometimes longer. And that's all you need to do!It lasts a long time on a cheap Tesco AA battery. So long, I can't remember when I last changed it.The only thing I had to get used to is having a clock that is showing the correct time all the time. One problem I've seen in over two years of owning this product is the fact that it doesn't adjust itself for daylight saving time (not sure if other radio clocks will do this or not), so twice a year you will need to take the battery out and re-insert it to get the new time. Not such a big thing, but an annoyance nevertheless. When the battery is low it will get a bit chaotic and search for a radio signal (ie perform a full revolution) quite a bit. But that's only a sign it needs a new battery.I love this product and am very happy with my purchase.

It works
Looks good and shows the right time. What else would you want from a clock?

How to force the clock to change to British Summer Time!
As reviews indicate the occasional purchaser gives up on this clock because they can't get it to reset to British Summer Time, anyone with this wonderful clock should at least try the little that can be tried. Firstly, clearly everyone already resets it at least once a year when the battery is replaced, and yet reviews don't highlight that as a problem in the same way! But like them, I too can find the British Summer Time change is a reluctant change. The problem, if you get it, is that the clock goes to 12am/pm (as is normal for resets), but later, refuses to reset itself even after 24 hours or more. The clock is stuck at 12.So, even though I don't know the technical reasons BST resets can be so awkward, here is what can be done. First, take the AA battery out. If it has been in the clock for 6 months it will be depleted, but if you decide it doesn't need replacing, take the battery out anyway. Before putting it back in, LEAVE IT OUT for a couple of minutes. Since removing the battery has exactly the same effect as pressing the clock's (tiny red) reset button, we will not be needing that.If that does not do it, or you have done that already and that doesn't do it, try this next thing. Put the clock in the window, perhaps overnight. This is what just worked for me, this BST change, 2 days ago. Odd, because for years up until now, the clock has been able to reset where I have it, on the wall - but not this time, for some reason! And if none of this works (really getting down to it), put the clock in a window which faces Cumbria, really, I'm not kidding because however weird it may sound, Cumbria is where the signal for the clock is transmitted from! Beyond that you are stuck with pressing the depressed 'reset' button periodically until the clock does 'read' the time signal. In my experience, people who won't repeat-try to get their clock to change and suspect their clock is broken - experience has shown me that is rarely the case and persistence, sometimes, is all that is required to repeatedly try to get the clock to update.
