MARTINM150 Medium Acoustic Guitar strings, Martin & Co

Have been using Martin M150's for literally decades - I still maintain these are the best Acoustic strings out there but that is only my opinion, so we will leave it there.For the current price these are a bargain. Top Quality.

Nice bright sounding strings. May buy again. Depends if I find any better as I’m experimenting trying out different strings at the moment. Each to their own I suppose!

I bought these strings on the strength of the review, and the fact they were fairly cheap. I havnt been playing guitar long but after one of my strings snapped had put off restringing for ages. When i finally managed to restring it with these strings and started to play I was surprised at the difference a new set of strings can make to the sound.These strings sound great, and will definately be buying again.

I like Martin 80/20 strings but I bought 5 packs and they took almost two months to arrive and, so far, two packs contained e-strings that broke while putting them on. They were cheaper, but not worth it. Maybe old, warehoused strings? Won’t be buying from this dealer again.

I started using these strings about 25 years ago. I've tried others, including twice-the-price Elixirs which many seem to rave about, but I always come back to these as they have a crisp and clear and rounded tone and reasonable longevity. I currently have them on 2 of my three acoustics, a Takamine EAN10C and an oldish Seagull S6 and they sound great on both.

As with all guitar strings, they sound best when fitted to the right guitar. I use these on my larger bodied guitars as they tend to have a fuller, more even tone and I use a famous brand of coated strings where I need a little more brightness. As an example my SJ100 sounds horrible with the coated strings but comes to life with the subtlety and responsiveness of the Martins. However, in the end it all comes down to personal taste.

La M150 était une corde réputée dans les années 1970, et sous l'appellation "Originals" elle reprennent du service, ce sont des classiques 80/20 et le son est certainement intéressant pour peu qu'elles soient montées sur une guitare avec qui elles forment une synergie qui conviendra au jeu pratiqué.Est-ce une impression ou la réalité, le touché me semble un peu plus raide qu'avec les cordes actuelles comme les MA150. C'est certes de bonnes cordes, mais lorsqu'elles seront usées je pense revenir à mes cordes habituelles …

Suono pulito, caldo ma chiaramente metallico. Utilizzate su una elettro-acustica non di marca, mi paiono resistenti e ben calibrate. A parte i primi momenti normalmente "ballerini" nei quali l'accordatura regge comunque il semitono, queste corde sono degne del marchio Martin. Consigliate!

Wahnsinn was man mit vernünftigen Saiten aus einer Null-8-Fuffzehn Gitarre vom Sperrmüll rausholen kann.Die Seiten klingen echt toll und ich hab Spaß beim Spielen
