Great price really easy handling

The device is fully functional but the screen is to fragile, it gets discolored once touched, I may have to get a screen protector for it if I want it to last.

Got this because I'm starting to do my own electrical work on my car and needed something I could test the wiring with. So far so good.

I found this meter to be extremely easy to use to test most anything that a homeowner might need to check while working in a home. It is auto-sensing and will automatically choose the correct measurement settings and quickly displays the reading on the large, easy to view color screen. One quirk is that the bottom display shows the ambient temperature in Centigrade – you can’t change it to Fahrenheit; I’m not sure what value this adds. However, when measuring AC voltage the bottom displays the Frequency in Hertz, which is pretty cool (see my photo).The included probes are nice but are a proprietary size, so replacing them might be difficult.One reason I got this was that it measures Capacitance, which my “professional” meter does not do. I recently used this meter to check my Central Air Conditioner Condenser Capacitor when the outdoor unit was failing to turn on. The capacitor has two sides and the meter verified that both sides were correct (within tolerance) and the Capacitor was not my issue. One side was 5 microfarads (read exactly 5 µF) and the other was 45 microfarads (read 43 µF – within the 5% tolerance). Unfortunately in my case, the capacitor was not the issue – these do commonly fail over time, and replacing them makes an easy fix saving an expensive A/C service call.So I think this is a nice meter that makes it easy to check electric/electronic circuits on a screen that is much easier to see than the typical small black-and-white multimeter screen. The auto-sensing functions make using it a breeze. The measurements appear to be accurate. I like it!

First: I tested this against my standards, and it is accurate enough for most use. So it'll be acceptable for most jobs, though I wouldn't trust it it for higher voltages.However, The leads this comes with are are junk. THey claim to be Cat3 1000v, but they are really thin feeling wires that I don't think will last long, nor be particularly well insulating.The case of the meter itself is a really thin cheap plastic, that won't survive anything but a really nice environment. The screen, while bright, is a waste, 1/3 of it is taken up by fixed information that could just be 'printed', and another 1/3 is taken up by the temperature, which isn't particularly useful.It makes this strange appearance of an effort to be water proof (by putting a rubber cover on the USB charging port), but that fell off almost immediately. PLUS there are holes in the plastic case for the speaker anyway.The battery life itself is fine seeming, though I never had a problem with batteries in any of my other meters.In general, all this has going for it is that it is reasonably accurate. It does worse than most meters at everything else.

J'ai choisi ce produit parce qu'il est abouti et plus pratique que ceux analogique standard. Il me convient bien pour mes travaux à la maison.

Ho avuto modo di testare diversi multimetri. Questo è molto bello, completo di custodia da trasporto, offre un display completamente digitale. Preciso nelle misurazioni, almeno quelle che sono in grado di verificare pur senza essere un ingegnere elettronico, è il primo che mi capiti fra le mani ad essere meravigliosamente ricaricabile! Eh già, niente batterie! Costa più di altri ma questo plus, a mio avviso, lo rende veramente all'avanguardia! Fantastico!
