Wanted low gear for commute to work
Wanted a lower gear for commute which ends with a long climb. Probably should have bought one in black if it comes in black.

Nice ratios
Just wanted a reasonably priced practicable 8 speed cassette for my mountain bike I was rebuilding. Very pleased, good ratios and gets me most places I want to ride off road.

Exact replacement for shimano hg30 cassette.
Fit straight into the hub and mounted the chain. Required a tiny bit of indexing to get the derailleur back in the correct place. I'd read that this change will make a big difference to the bike feel but I had my doubts, however after this and the new chain the bike feels quicker and easier to cycle - I'm using the next higher gear than before as I'm finding the effort the same. Maybe it's in my head.As my bike is old and these will probably start being discontinued I plan to buy at least one more, a few chains and some bottom brackets to see me through the next 5 or 6 years hopefully.
