So if you're like me you've been looking at purchasing metal nibs for your pencil but have been apprehensive because there aren't many reviews telling you it's okay. Well I'm here to say it is totally fine. I use this nib on my premium kindle pencil for my scribe and it works great. Installation is easy and fast. I did use it on the scribe without a screen protector and it doesn't leave scratches however just to be safe I did purchase a matte screen protector simply because I throw my scribe in my purse alot. It does take a few times of use to adjust your hand pressure. Start out soft and work your way up to the pressure you feel comfortable with while writing so keep that in mind. I did not notice any offset in tip to screen. The writing quality in my opinion improved greatly over the use of the plastic nibs. It's durable and I don't forsee needing to replace it for quite some time if ever. I did notice the screen shadow happens more often but in the video I show that flipping to a new page and then back will eliminate the shadows So if you were looking for the review to encourage you to switch but you were apprehensive due to it being metal then this review is for you. Feels like a ball pen. Doesn't scratch the screen even without screen protector. Doesn't fall out. Stays in. Writes well. Works well. Installs the same way as the original one. I like it better than the original. No issues found using it.

Update: it’s been years and I haven’t had to replace this nib. It still writes beautifully. The only issue that I’ve had is it will start drifting but all I had to do was reseat it and it went back to working great. I’ve been using these tips for about a year and I’ve enjoyed using them. They’ve worked with no issues for me. I have a paper like screen cover on and haven’t had any scratches on my screen. I use my scribe daily to do crossword puzzles and they work great. They fit into the pen perfectly and are easy to remove if needed. I haven’t had to change the one that I’ve put in yet so the quality is great.

The tips I received are a perfect fit for the Kindle Voyage stylus. The writing feel is very different from the plastic tips, but the writing precision is so much better with a finer tip that doesn't wear down, flatten out, or get shredded. These are a huge improvement over the plastic tips that wear out every 2-3 months. The finer tip makes it easier to write small and save space on the page, just like a fine-tip pen would. Like others, I also haven't noticed any additional wear and tear of the screen. I can imagine hard pressure outside of normal writing could potentially still scratch or damage the screen. You know how young kids grab crayons in their little fists and then bear down on the page to color? Yeah, wouldn't want anyone doing that to my screen with this tip. But based on me using these for a month so far, normal writing pressure should be fine. You probably won't have much need to remove these tips since they don't wear out. But they come with a metal remover tool, as these are much smoother than plastic and harder to get a purchase on to remove. Small needle-nose pliers would also work if you have them or if you lose the tool.

This product was bought for both my standard and pro pen for the Kindle Scribe, and I have had no issues with either pen after purchasing it. I love my Scribe, but the plastic tips wear out very quickly. I was concerned that the metal tips would cause scratches to the screen or not feel as good as the plastic. I have not noticed any scratches through normal use for several months. Pros: It lasts forever. After several months of consistent use, I have not noticed any wear to the tips. With the plastic, I would have had to replace it several times. It does not scratch the screen. Through normal use (not pressing down crazy hard) you will not scratch your screen. Cons: It seems overpriced for such a small piece of metal. I know that the parts have to be precisely made to avoid scratches, but the price still seems higher than it needs to be. ($16.99 was my purchase price.) The tip does not write as well as the plastic. This is more of an opinion, but I like how the plastic wrote better. The plastic would also seem to be closer to the Kindle which made the writing more natural. However, this is a tradeoff that is still worth me moving to metal tips. Overall, this product is a 4 out of 5. It would be a higher rating if the price was lower but overall, it is a great product. I recommend this to anyone looking to reduce the frequency of tip replacements.

These tips are truly fantastic replacements for the default tips! They feel more like a pencil or pen when writing. Installation was a breeze; just pull the old and slide in the new. They glide smoothly over the screen without leaving marks or scratches. In case anyone is wondering, these only fit in the pen that comes with the Kindle Scribe. They are too small to stay in the stylus pen you can purchase to use with the Fire 10 and Fire Max 11.

Bought mine years ago and it still works like a charm! A first I was worried it'd somehow scratch my Kindle screen since the original nib was rubbery, but not a single mark was left on there! The nib also hasn't worn out at all, so despite buying the 2 pack, I only really needed the one. The writing is very smooth with it and I honestly like the sound it makes when I write, since it sounds almost like a regular pen

既存のペン先が消耗してきたため、リフィルを探していたときにこちらを発見、消耗レスに惹かれ、即購入。 私はKindleの画面に保護フィルムを貼って使っていますが、問題なく書けます。若干滑りが良くなった感じです。鉛筆からボールペンに乗り換えたような感覚ですかね？ 文字も細く書けます。 とにかく細目のペン先で書きたい自分としては、良いこと尽くしの商品でした。

Écriture toujours parfaite après plusieurs mois d'utilisation.

Ich wollte für meinen Kindle Scribe nicht mehr diese billigen Plastikspitzen mehr haben! Da ich recht viel mit dem Scribe nicht nur viel lese, sondern auch schreibe, waren diese Plastikspitzen immer nach ca. 1 - 1 1/2 Wochen abgenudelt! Das ist nicht gerade lange und noch wenige effizient und nachhaltig! Und gerade billig sind die Kunststoffdinger ja auch nicht! Die Ersatzspitzen, die dem Scribe beilagen waren bei mir also sehr schnell verbraten! Auf der Suche nach Ersatzspitzen erfuhr ich, dass es auch Titanspitzen gibt! Aber die von Amazon mit regulär 18,99€ für 2 Stück, das grenzt ja an Wucher! So fand ich dann irgendwann diese Spitzen hier für momentan 5,99€ - ein Hammerpreis wie ich finde! Bestellte mir erstmal nur einen Pack, um sie auszuprobieren, ob sie wirklich was taugen! Und ich muss sagen, sie sind absolut spitzenmäßig und funktionieren einwandfrei auf dem Kindle Scribe! Inzwischen schreibe ich mit der 1. Spitze schon ca. 2 Monate und kann bisher null Verschleiß bei ihr feststellen! Das Schreibgefühl ist natürlich etwas glatter wie bei den Kunststoffspitzen, aber daran habe ich mich schnell gewöhnt! Somit ist das für mich kein Problem! Wie das beim Malen oder Zeichnen wäre, kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich eben nur schreibe! Inzwischen habe ich mir noch ein paar Packs davon nachbestellt und werde wohl so schnell nicht wieder neue Ersatzspitzen brauchen! Mit dem Kindle Scribe sind diese Titanspitzen in jedem Fall kompatibel und deswegen gibt es von mir bei dem Top-Preis eine absolute Kaufempfehlung und die vollen 5 Sterne!

Fits my kindle scribe pen flawlessly, and glides so much smoother than the original plastic nibs. It also is so much more sensitive than the original plastic nibs and makes low pressure strokes so much easier, so the actual drawing experience is much better with titanium IMO. Plus, well, it's titanium! I've been using a titanium nib (from the same brand) on my Noris Jumbo for years, and both the nib and the screen of my samsung tab S4 are practically brand new. The nibs are rounded enough that there's no sharp edge to create scratches, and I used to get more issues with smears from the original plastic nibs than I get from the titanium ones. I would never go back to plastic, and I actually check availability of titanium nibs before considering buying a stylus.

Dopo aver sostituito 3 punte al pennino del mio Scribe (facendole durare più del dovuto tenendo spuntati i filamenti che si creavano con l'usura) ho scoperto l'esistenza di queste punte. Mi hanno rivoluzionato completamente la qualità di utilizzo del pennino! Maggior precisione, nessuna manutenzione per il controllo dell'usura della punta e nessun timore per le deformazioni da impatto (in caso di caduta accidentale o di sfregamento contro una superficie più dura). Qualità dello scorrimento ottimale, sembra realmente di scrivere con una penna a sfera. Consigliatissimo. Investimento da fare assolutamente!
