This tuning fork - tuned to the C note, was purchased by me for use in the healing modality known as REIKI, a Japanese term meaning Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki practitioners channel the Creators' energy into recipients to clear and balance their chakras - whirling energy centers within the body, for optimum health in mind, body and spirit. The tuning fork is used to measure the strength of the energy flow in different parts of, and throughout the body. It is an effective tool for this purpose. I also understand that chiropractors may use the tuning fork to detect fractures in bones. When the tuning fork is activated and placed on the skin above a fracture, the patient experiences pain.

Product is as advertised but I did not feel what I thought was enough vibration to be helpful even though I followed the specific directions. Others may feel differently. I think tapping may be as effective and cost nothing

Not the best quality but amazing for the price and, most importantly, it gets the job done.

Cheap and effective. It acts just as you would expect a tuning fork to act, and it arrived undamaged and working quite well. Good value.

Definitely not the highest quality tuning fork, but I just need it for a clinical exam so it'll do. Considering it's only $5, I'd say you get what you pay for. It works for what I need. For those expecting high quality, just remember this is a $5 item, it will do in a pinch, and it'll do for nursing students. If you're needing it for serious use, probably want to spend a little cash. For the price the quality is expected and the seller provided me with great customer service.

no expectations, no disappointments. This is what I expected for this product. Although I think initially sent the 1st one back due to a defect, but the second one was fine.

My lab partner and I needed a tuning fork to practice with outside of the lab, but being a full-time student, funds are tight. This product was exactly what we needed, and it worked just perfect. I would buy from this seller again, if they had something I needed. It arrived in perfect timing as stated by seller, and in the condition advertised. Thanks a lot!!!
