These nozzles are adjustable. From fine mist to stronger spray. I have bout other non-adjustable ones and was a bit disappointed. These ones are superior to others!

No...you don't need to do anything but Tighten the part that touches the washer. I will replace the GREEN washer that came with the unit with a quality "O" Ring. Great spray pattern...from a Fine Mist to a Steady 30 degree stream...and Solid Brass...I just ordered another one...will last as long as brass lasts...Clean with Lime-Away etc...

The media could not be loaded.  I used these to do water misting for our pigs during the hot summer months. I put these on the end of galvanized pipe with a hose fitting on the other end that runs to my hydrant. Combine these with battery powered water timers from Amazon and they kick on automatically at noon every day for a few hours. Work great!

I got this nozzle for a wildflower seed bed so it wouldn't erode the thin cover soil. The spray is finer than a typiclal nozzle but puts out small streams of water rather than a mist, so mission not accomplished. Also, recommend an on/off valve behind this nozzle so you can control flow without getting back to a spigot.

When I first purchase this, Mr., I loved it it has a really nice fine mist and you can control it to a heavier spray miss however, within just a couple weeks it started leaking like a sieve like a big spray of water, so I returned it for a replacement in the exact same thing happened with the replacement exactly the same way. It just leaks at a joint or they have a green band on it and it just doesn’t hold Wells something they must put on there that temporarily makes it work and then after a while, it no longer works. It’s a waste of money.
