As someone with a long history of complicated dental issues, I've become very particular about my dental products. When my hygienist told me that I needed to work at getting plaque away from my guns, I looked for a product to help with that and found this toothpaste. I've always liked Colgate, but this is an especially excellent toothpaste. It works very well, cleaning my teeth and gums thoroughly and leaving my whole mouth feeling great for hours, even after having my morning coffee.The mint flavor is strong but not overwhelming and fades in a reasonable amount of time. I would not eat or drink immediately after brushing, but you only need to wait a few minutes, not ages. The texture of the paste is smooth on the brush and friths with brushing to a solid foam that covers everything you want to clean. My teeth felt CLEAN the first time I used it and after regular use my mouth definitely feels cleaner than before, even after a night of sleeping open mouthed (thanks, allergies). My teeth are whiter, too.It's worth taking the time to find the toothpaste that works best for you. If you are also concerned about plaque and keeping your gums healthy, I definitely recommend this toothpaste!

I have gotten this because of needing help with teeth issues. It is easy to brush your teeth and get rid of your pain or discomfort. The price is worth it. I have no effectives using it. It seems to be working out very well. The view when you are using it is very good and not tasting bad. Seeing what you have in your mouth you can get it out and not swallow. The appearance is good 😊

My dentist was thrilled to see me using this, and ordered some for herself when she saw I got it on Amazon. The fluoride in this product is a higher quality for tooth protection. However, just a heads up... overuse can cause a bit of tooth staining. BUT... you just need to brush with regular toothpaste and the stain comes right off. This is most recommended for nightly use, so you don't have to worry about potential discoloration. I haven't seen any myself. In any case, I really love this toothpaste, the taste, and how effectively it works.

Great toothpaste cleans teeth and whitening them.

I've used a lot of toothpastes in my life, and none has come close to the performance of this. Was using Parodontax, but got visible plaque along the gum line. After going through a tube of the Colgate all the visible plaque disappeared. I then went through a tube of Nature's Answer PerioBrite and none of the visible plaque has returned. Felt the Colgate, along with the miraculous disapperance of the plaque, offered better breath freshening than the Periodent, so am going back to, and sticking with, the Colgate. Yes, it is expensive, but worth every penny. Only bad thing is it has a screw, rather than flip, cap.

I’ve tried this toothpaste several times. It makes my teeth feel very clean, and I think it is very good at whitening. My problem is that I’m now sure I am allergic or extremely sensitive to one or more of the ingredients. Every time, after using it for about a week, my teeth become sensitive and the gums are irritated after brushing, and even further after drinking or eating. I end up in a bad cycle, brushing to make my mouth feel better, but it just gets more irritated and uncomfortable. This is obviously not something that happens to everyone and it doesn’t make the toothpaste bad, but I wanted to add this incase it can be of help to others that may experience similar.I find that I do better with Crest Gum Restore - oddly enough, not Gum Detoxify, so the latter may have similar ingredients to this one.
