Complete & Balanced Freeze Dried Raw Diet for Cats, Pork Recipe, 9 oz Bag

Not only do both elder (15 years old) cats like it, their fur has softened, and the seem more playful after a few months of Boss Cat food. I just wish it was less expensive.

I have an IBD kitty who vomits everything after he eats. The vet said no more fish or fowl. Pork is fine. We first tried the chicken & turkey before his diagnosis and he went crazy for them. Then I saw they had pork online, and that was a big hit. I like how they put probiotics in it. He used to eat another freeze dried brand, I found out there was high ash content, and he always ran to the water fountain after eating them. This brand seems higher quality and it smells good.

Cats weren't the biggest fan of this and I also found it kind of smelly. I do see how some animals would like this but mine didn't. We tried even wetting it a bit so it wasn't so dry.Also, make sure to give your pet plenty of water while eating this as they'll use up some when eating.

I'm always on the look out for quality cat foods with novel proteins because one of my cats has a very restricted diet to control his IBD, and it's easier to feed all three cats the same food. Freeze-dried raw pork has been a great replacement for dry food I can leave out for free feeding, as well as for a meal rehydrated with warm water. All three like this brand/formula, and we're happy to have it!

I ordered the Boss Cat complete and balanced freeze dried raw diet in the pork because I haven’t seen pork offered very often in cat food and was curious to see how my cats would take to this novel protein. One of my senior cats was a definite ‘no go’ on this food and would not touch it but the majority of my crew went nuts over this. I did not moisten it as suggested and just set it out like kibble. I like the ingredients listed and that this food is gluten free and contains no corn. This is a great option for someone that prefers a raw diet but wants the convenience of leaving food out like a kibble.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. My cats won't eat it. A waste of money.

Both my cats love it and tussle over who gets to have it first! The nuggets sizes are perfect for automatic feeders, unlike other larger brands. I would definitely get this again and recommend to everyone!
