Very solid and great value for money
Try finding an mppt this cheap and you don't have many options. This is solid, affordable and (to my evidence) doing its job very well.It is strangely reverse polarity so at every stage of connecting your panel and battery, check every connection to make sure your positive/negative are the right way round. I ended up taping a couple of reverse polarity SAE and a couple of stickers denoting polarity to my setup so i don't have to check every time.I have it paired with a 130w flexi solar panel and occasionally I run a 50w on a y cable in addition. Unless we get the clearest summer equinox, it'll stay within the 10amp limit of the unit.

Works properly but the solar panel connector is backwards
You can see it in the product pictures, but I wasn't paying attention. The connector coming out of the regulator going to the solar panel is backwards. The positive terminal is shielded and the negative is exposed, it should be the other way around. That end is not supplying voltage, just receiving it, so the positive connection shouldn't be shielded. Going to have to make an adapter or cut the connector off and flip it.

Does NOT charge LifePO4 batteries
This charger will not charge LifePO4 batteries. It will only charge GEL and AGM batteries.I tried charging three different LifePO4 batteries, 12VDC 7ah/10ah/12ah. It WILL NOT complete charging any of these LifePO4 batteries. It stops charging after the LifePO4 battery reaches 50%. I was successful in charging my two 12V 5ah GEM and AGM batteries ok.If you're looking for a LifePO4 battery charger, DO NOT purchase this charger.If you're looking for a GEL or ADM battery charger, it's OK to purchase this charger.
