The 632 is EXTRA Heavy Duty foil, while the 624 is just Heavy Duty. Both are 18"x500' foil rolls, but the 632 weighs on average 6lbs more for the same 500' of foil. 9.5#'s vs 15.1#'s per case.

Q: I need top quality heavy duty tin foil for a project, but why did all 5 Sams club reviewers give this 5 stars & 4 Amazon reviewers give it 1 ??

This particular foil isn't what I consider heavy duty. Years ago I bought a 500 ft roll of Reynolds 620 foil and it WAS heavy duty. I expected this product, the 624, to be the same product only in 18'' width instead of 12''. I was extremely disappointed in the weight of this foil. As I said, to me, this is not heavy duty foil. I have to double it up to get "heavy" weight performance. In fact, I bought a roll of Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty foil in the 18" width at Walmart and it is slightly heavier than the 500 foot roll I am now stuck with. Don't buy it. And Reynolds would not answer my email inquiry about the weight of this product before I purchased it nor would they answer a call to their 800 number consumer question phone. I am so done with Reynolds. I won't buy their products in the future. And I'm sorry I bought this product. I'd go for the extra heavy weight if they have it. So buy a small roll of heavy duty at Walmart and the 624 will be a slightly lighter weight.

Q: would this foil be suitable for smoking? (A junkie would be preferred to answer question but any answer would be appreciated)

No. All forms of aluminum produce toxic gases when raised to temperatures that high. Stick to glass.
