Worked on a 2002 Ranger. Had to modify harness.
I had to modify the wiring harness on my 2002 Ranger (3.0L), But after that it worked. Truck stalled out (of course with a trailer full of lumber) because of code "P0325" which is "knock sensor malfunction". I didn't even think it had one. Had it towed back to the house, ordered this because it looked identical, but the plug was different. I modified so it would fit, and after a few cranks the truck started with no codes present. OEM sensor cost 3 times more than this one. Definitely worth a little "rigging" to make it work!
