I am using these rings for newly planted apple and paw paw trees, which aren't quite big enough for watering bags. These are pretty good. I would suggest some kind of adapter on your garden hose. The fill hole on the ring is about the same size as the hose end, and you have to hold them together somewhat awkwardly. These water bags last about 4 hours and then they are empty. I bought them on the assumption they would be slow release similar to a Gatorbag. They are also not easy to fill. You fill them to max capacity, turn off the water hose, then, pull the hose and water goes everywhere while you try to close the cap. These are just an awful design and are way over priced.

Bought 40 of them to water my young orchard. slow release is a total misnomer. I had empty bags before I was done filling and spreading them. Already invested so going to have to make them work. and no way are they holding 10 gallons. a full bag should be 80+ lbs and no chance thats close to that.

I have four trees maybe 15 feet between each and by the time the I finished filling the last bag, all three of the previous had drained completely. Returning and will not purchase again.

I thought this was to last a week or at least a day but the bag was empty within 30 minutes. Tried a second bag and same thing happened. Don’t bother getting this product.

Large opening for filling it but no connector, so I could not completely fill it because the water started coming out of the opening. Also, it starts coming out of the two drains in the bottom as you fill it. The bags drained overnight. Not designed for extended watering. I found these useless and decided to use empty wine bottles stuck in the soil around the trees.

The holes are too large for the expected "slow" watering the plants need to establish themselves. The water ran out so fast, I could have simply watered the plants with a hose.

Very difficult to fill, and it empties so fast I needed to insert bits of branches and stuff into the port to slow it down. Lots of water everywhere, ineffective.
