I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I bought it for my 6 month old kitten for short car trips and it is perfect! (I have a large dog carrier for longer journeys so as to be able to fit a litter tray, bed and food bowls).I hesitated between the medium and small sizes and I am glad that I opted for the small as it is really very roomy indeed and would suit even a very large cat with room to spare. My kitten jumped straight in and absolutely loves it. The 'sheepskin' mat isn't very thick, but is none the less quite cozy so i don't really think that there is a need for an extra pad.The assembly is simple, just 2 clicks and it is done and the multiple entrances mean that it is suitable for use as a bed at home when not in use for travel. The top opening will be especially useful I think when it comes time to go to the vet..... No more struggling to force an unwilling cat to let go of the door and get in the box! There is a small zip pocket on the top for cat treats etc and a larger detachable pouch at the side for documents or toys.... Both very useful indeed.I would recommend this box to any cat (or small dog) owner without hesitation. Even at full price it is a good buy although I got lucky and bought a 'used' one at half price .... When it arrived it was in fact brand new with just a small tear in the packaging! One cat and one owner 100% satisfied!!

Having used the more traditional cat baskets (grey, dark, closed in type with just an opening at the front) I can honestly say this is by far the best carrier I have ever owned.My cat is always scared of new things and ran off at the first sight of it, but after finally getting her in it and taking her out for a while, she finally got used to it - so much so that she even got in it when it was siting at home!I think as the open netting gives her the feeling of space and allows her to see everything around her, so she is able to enjoy her surroundings while feeling safe.This is the perfect carrier, not just for the a trip to the vets (!) but long haul trips too - although long haul in a car (it is fairy lightweight, but got very heavy after just a few minutes walk. I had to stop and start regularly - my cat is not that big and the carrier isn't that heavy. Strange:/).Still, this is a beautiful design and allows my baby girl to look around. We love it!

I absolutely love it, kept it in the living room until thy got used to it, then transferred it to the car on Saturday I meant to keep it in the kitchen with my boys one. The top pocket I have put some dog wipes, the bag on the side is detachable, again fantastic I have 2 small bowls and a bottle of water and a couple of food pouches in emergency. Best buy ever, my neighbour spotted it yesterday and she is getting one, my husband said sarcastically oh has she paid you to say that, but honestly the best thing I have ever bought, I have two Shih Tzu's and they sleep together, bought a similar one for the kitchen beige and that is also good, but the accessories that come with this are fantastic. I could not say how impressed I was with this product. One downside jokingly, I have a boy and a girl, so poor Harry has to be seen in pink.

Cavapoo puppy loves her crate. Was so pleased we did not get a wire one as the first night she threw herself around as she wasn't happy to be locked up, so as advised could ignore her as she couldn't harm herself in this and she settled after a few minutes. Keep her at the side of the bed at night. I worried that she would be afraid to go in it but during the day it doubles as a playpen in the living-room as she loves to run through the different openings and play with the handles. She does chew it, but so far it has stood up but it has only been a week! We use it in the car along the back seat and again she sleeps happily or plays. We never use it to punish, it has to become their happy place. Really excellent purchase, am very pleased. I think the price is fairly reasonable at £30 odd.

We have a new pup yorkie and needed to get something to keep her out of trouble (away from electrical wires). This was great because it was big enough we could put her basket in it with all her toys and she loves to sleep in this too. I got the XL, which could fit a spaniel in it and wanted it to be big enough that she could hide in it.Its sturdy enough with two bars that can be put on the top. It can also be folded away when not in use but we decided to keep it up for her so she can hide when things get too crazy. She gets tired very fast and has slept in this when she doesnt want to be bothered. If we cant watch her for a few mins we will let her stay in this as it acts like a pen.

Very pleased with this purchase. Excellent quality and highly recommend.My eight week puppy sleeps in this, and it’s ideal - she’s tiny. I would recommend medium for most puppies, mine is a Yorkshire terrier so teeny.Only grumble was that Amazon chose Royal Mail to deliver rather than their couriers which took twice as long and I needed it quickly.

Difficult to erect - strength needed. Zips are poor - do not glide easily so not sure they will last. On the plus side, pretty colour and perfect size wise for my miniature schnauzer cross.

I bought this for using when I take my puppy away to stay with friends. It's very easy to erect and folds flat for storage. It's large enough to house a fully grown shih tzu dog so should last a long time as it's only going to be used occasionally. I wouldn't think it would be suitable for every day use but is ecellent for occasional use. I would highly recommend this size of pet crate for a small puppy as they have quite a lot of room to move around. I fitted her small dog donut bed inside the crate with a few toys and treats and she was a happy and contented puppy who slept well for the two nights that I was staying with friends.
