They all the same size? if so, why does any home consumer need 12 of them? someone please explain the rationale! tia

The short answer is some people work in commercial kitchens. With 8 cooks and 3 salad prep people things get lost and are required at different stations. Not everyone shopping is buying for their home kitchen.
