Would this set well and fit into cracks and be fully waterproof with daily showers?** A: This compound is very strong and would do the job if you are okay with a black shiny finish between tile and metal edge. It mixes to quite a thin runny liquid but starts to go hard within minutes, so may not be easy to apply over a long section. While it would be waterproof and very strong, a good alternative would be a good quality silicone sealant of the same or close colour to the tile grout. It should be a mould free variety. **Q: Does it work as a filler?** A: When you initially mix the two parts the compound becomes a sticky liquid form and begins to harden. If you intending to use it as a filler it will pour out of any area that's not horizontal. It's primary is to bond but it will fill small gaps that are flat... **Q: Does it remain black after sanding?** A: From what I can remember when I used it it was a dark grey/black colour when sanded down. It can be painted over. **Q: Can i use this for fridge lower bottom shelf (plastic)as it holds milk bottles of 4 to 5 liters.I couldn't get a bottom shelf.** A: yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality a must have for the tool box *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 May 2026* This is great stuff, the tubes are great no mess just twist off the cap and squirt it out, due to the tube design the glue is not going off between uses, sets quickly in approx. 30mins but fully cured in 24hours, then its rock hard and does not budge, great for me for all the little fixes, handy to have a tube ready to go, I also use the JB marine weld. fully recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stuff!! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 April 2024* It just works. Despite some reviews stating that it is "too wet" and wrongly criticising the incredibly simple cap, this stuff is easy to mix, easy to use (when applying a little common sense) and absolutely tough as old boots.Twist and pull off the cap to open the twin tube dispenser and give the tubes a few taps to make sure there's no air trapped in either, push the plunger to squeeze out the 2 components, ensuring that they come out in equal amounts, mix well and, unless you need a really liquid material, leave for around 5 minutes, possibly even a little longer if you're using it on a vertical surface, so that it thickens up a bit. Do make sure to replace the cap the right way round, though - quite easy to do, since the component liquids are black and white.Once applied, it sets in 20 to 30 minutes (rarely the 15 minutes stated on the packaging), so you will have time to shape and smooth it as it starts to cure and might need to hold, clamp or tape a joint in place for a while. Other than that, once it has fully cured (I ended up leaving it for 24 hours, just to make sure, as it was still soft enough to indent with a fingernail, even after a couple of hours) it is both sandable and any overspill can be cut off or shaped with a sharp blade.
