Works as advertised, thinking about getting a second one.

Combat aircrew tested and approved.
Great product. Used on my flight helmet as combat aircrew in Afghanistan. Enabled me to quickly find things inside the helicopter when flying at night. The blue light reduces the chances of being seen by the enemy, and it doesn't bloom out the NVGs of the pilots or other aircrew. Durable, and stays put on my helmet.

I had such high hopes for this thing... but it really disappointed me.
This thing worked great... once. However, the teeth that go into the mount are very cheap and it broke after the first time i used it. The light worked as advertised, but the cheap plastic that is on the bottom of the light itself broke almost instantaneously after a small amount of pressure was applied to it. Very disappointed. Hopefully princeton tec pulls its head out of its rectum and starts producing products that can withstand at least a small amount of wear and tear. If I were you, I wouldn't waste the $60 on a poorly engineered product.

The tabs DOES break the first use
I didn't fully believe it when the other reviews mentioned that the mounting tabs broke right away -- I thought perhaps people were people a bit forceful. But, despite being incredibly careful, and barely applying any force, one of the mountings tabs DID break immediately, even before the first use: i was just trying to insert the light into an included holder, and the tab broke before I could even rotate the light.Incredibly disappointing. Clearly there is a manufacturing issue here, since this is so unexpected.
