Disappointed in the quality, thought it would thicker.

This handy tool is indespensable for redrawing commercial sewing patterns to allow for variations to the standard commercial pattern sizes. This particular French curve is especially useful as it is flexible and large enough to continue the curve of a skirt, say. The French curve was delivered on time and I used it constantly since I received it. I have redrawn 5 garment patterns in the last 3 weeks already.Any lady with larger than B Cup should consider this as an essential piece of equipment for altering these patterns to make garments that fit perfectly. I haven't tried to construct my own patterns yet. What I need now is a good book of instructions on how to get the best from this sewing aid.

Easy to use

The description hasn’t states clear about the origin. When it’s arrived. I found that it is made in china. The quality is so so coz it is a thin layer plastic

This French curve has nice curves and a useful ruler edge. I found it to be on the flimsy side. Another problem I had with it is that it generated a lot of static with my pattern paper which made it trickier to use than a metal one would be. The packet has good instructions for pattern alterations. The packet was rather mangled due to the way it had been packaged.An ok product. I would choose a thicker plastic or metal one in future.

Love this french curve and the extra info about how to use the ruler on the inside of the packaging. Look strong and should last a long time. Would recommend great addition to my sewing equipment.

I looove my French curve! It has barely left myhand since I received it. It has totally upped my pattern drafting game and I wonder how I survived without thisthing all these years. I have others (with cm and without any markings) and I love thisone best. Some have criticised the „flimsyness“ I love its flexibility because I doesn‘t get caught on my drafting paper...like the others!

I was so excited when this package arrived to find out that it had been damaged beyond repair during it's shipping. The ruler is incredibly flexible and bendy. Although it was packaged between two pieces of light cardboard, it still managed to get bent and twisted and shoved into a mailbox. If the ruler had more structure or it was packaged differently, this would not have happened. The return process has been easy enough, but I would recommend purchasing a heavier/ticker ruler with more integrity.
