I was unable to use my iPad in the vertical position. I had to remove the ‘head’ and adapt the stand to take a different head. I use an ‘Ulanzi’ iPad fitting that needs a photographic 1/4 inch screw. It now does the job very well

Works well, although the iPad holder does hold it securely it does not allow it to swivel more than about20 degrees, i.e. It will not tilt far off the vertical. Good construction, well priced. Would recommend.

This item was bought to enable us to facetime on our ipad with our daughter who lives in California. We facetime every week for up to three hours and it was tiring holding the ipad for this length of time. We found this item very beneficial and after use is put away.

You get what you pay for. A cheap stand, of low quality. The main drawback to this item is the sturdiness of the hinge, which is not strong enough to hold the tablet in all positions. But it does work.

Not good in portrait mode as the ball joint is not strong enough to hold it in place fully.

Good tripod but didn’t come with any instructions!

Came with no instructions and I still can’t work out how to assemble it.
