Dr. MartensWomen's 1460 Ankle Boots

Wanted a pair of Dr Martens for a while now and saw these for £50 which was a steal, overall I find the shoes rather comfortable and extremely sturdy. Saying this though it will take a little while to get them 'worn in'. The one problem I have with them is not the fault of the shoes but rather the foot-well of my car and the shoes I am accustomed to, because they are much bigger than the shoes I wear more regularly I find driving in them a bit difficult as you cant 'feel' your feet and judge the pressure you are putting on as with shoes with as thinner sole the same this should improve however as time goes by and I get the shoes worn in and get used to wearing them.Overall a great set of footwear and well worth the money, my Dad has been wearing his pair for around ten years and they are as sturdy and as comfortable as ever just after such a long time the tred has worn down to almost nothing however this gives you an idea of how long they will last.

So I've been lusting for a pair of Docs for quite a long time now and I finally got one! I decided to have a treat and buy myself a present for Christmas. I ordered it on the 3rd of December and I already got it today! (6/12/11) How quick is that? Fantastic. So I quickly opened the box to see the shoes. I was super excited. I tried it on quickly to see if it's the right size. I must say, I am size 10 so I ordered size 10 and it's a bit big on me but nothing too uncomfortable. It's not like it's falling off or anything. Besides, I probably just haven't broken them in yet. I heard they require some breaking in so they shape to your fit. Unfortunately, I have to abstain and put it away and gift wrap it. I can't officially wear them til Christmas. Nevertheless! I thought the quality of the boots were beautiful and you can tell that it's durable (fingers crossed) and what a wonderful service. Very pleased.

I answered that they fit as expected as they do to me as I am a huge fan of Dr. Martens and this is my 7th pair. I am a UK size 5 in every other shoe..well I am a UK 6 in some ballet pumps but very rarely. In Dr. Martens I am a UK size 4. They are slightly bigger than your normal size and every person I know who owns a pair has said the same thing. I would totally recommend buying these but I would recommend that you try a pair on in a shop before ordering online as you may be true to the rule of them being bigger or you may fit your usual size!Anyway these are so much cheaper than the official website/shop so yeah, get them while you can!

Love love love these boots! Due to a spinal condition I have added some memory foam insoles to the boots which make them more comfortable for me. However this isn't needed. I have been wearing them with 2 pairs of socks on (1 thicker pair) with them loosely tied up and this has seemed to help prevent blisters. I have gotten many compliments wearing these boots, and now all my colleagues want a pair. I looked on the official Dr Martens website and for exactly the same boots they are £100. So I took a risk and ordered these (plus saving £40 is a bonus) I'm so glad I got these. Will keep my feet lovely and warm in the winter months. I am currently wearing them in and I'm looking forward to the leather breaking and them becoming less stiff . Overall I cannot complain about the product. They are the real deal and would order these again from here without hesitation.

Delivery went very fast (I'm in Vietnam) even during the holidays season (between Christmas and New Year). It's the one with yellow stitches but the shoes says made in China.Regardless, I like the design very much. I'm 4UKand ordered just that but I think I ordered just a tad bigger than my size (an inch bigger) but it still feels ok since I have wide feet.I even used it when I went out dancing for new year's eve and didn't get any blisters.It didn't come with an extra lace like what on the comments said so.

Brought them for work, the sole has now split, for the price these boots are as good as they used to be!

My 11 year old son kicks the hell out of everything he wears, he has a ball at his feet permanently and nothing to date has survived him for a decent length of time that you would expect when spending about £50 a pair. Until now !!!! I bought them for school , slightly big but i knew they would be as a 2 would give no growing room. He wears them with 2 pairs of socks and i know they will take a little while to wear in. It is taking a little while and instruction for him to quickly get the hang of taking them off and on for pe etc. I knew this would be the case but he is getting the hang of them and it is a small price to pay for the quality. They are waterproof and his feet are well protected. Finally he has met his match with these. Its worth the extra cost as they should last longer.I will update in a few weeks as by then anything normally on his feet would be looking worse for wear. I bought mine from surfdome on Amazon

I've been a fan of doc's for about 25 years now and even though I technically had to send this particular pair back due to my own personal fault I will always give docs high marks.

Très satisfaite. La couleur est comme sur la photo. Parcontre, comme c'est rigide à casser au début, je vous conseille de les relacer plus lousse et de mettre une boule de papier pour rehausser le dessus du pied avant de les porter.

Der Schuh ist super bequem, trotz direkten, langen Tragen, keine Blasenoder Schmerzen.Sieht toll aus, fühlt sich sehr wertig an, wie ich es von Dr. Martens gewohnt bin. 👍
