Pups love this and it’s one ingredient from the USA.

There were some large pieces but most of them are the size in the picture. The dogs love them but they're a crunchier texture than I expected and very hard to break into smaller pieces. I use a pair of kitchen shears to cut them into smaller pieces for my dachshunds. I wish the pieces were either large or small. At this size, I'm worried they'll choke on the treats trying to eat them, this the 4 stars.

Most importantly, my pup seems to love these treats. She will happily do anything for them making them great training treats. I put some of the crumbs in the trash and she was pawing at the trashcan to get them. The larger pieces are easy to break into small chunks for training. However, there is some inconsistency in the thickness of the pieces. Unexpectedly the very thin ones (like the one in my pics) are tough to break apart (there seems to be something like a vein or cartridge running through those pieces that makes it hard to pull apart). I like that these are single ingredient treats and organ food is supposed to be great for dogs. These have a slight odor unless they get damp ... in which case they smell much more strongly. Finally, I prefer to support small business when I can. Overall, I am very happy with these.

We got these for our 2 years old labradoodle, as treats for long walks, and she likes them! What I love the most is its one 100% pork ingredient (liver). My dog has had several time bad reactions (vomit) after trying new food, but she didn't have any with this one. The only reason this wasn't perfect is that, different from the product photos, my liver came in smaller broken pieces, which made it more difficult/messy to grab from inside the bag.

There is almost no chewing required, and little chewing means your dog will inhale them in about 10 seconds. My other concern is the price. There are only 4 ounces of treats in each container, yet they are priced far higher than most treats.Natural is the way to go with do dog treats. These dehydrated pig hearts are natural and pure, so you can feel good about giving them to your dog. If you can accept the price, then you should consider these treats. Your dog will love you for making the purchase.

I'm not gonna lie to you, I bought these for myself. Looked up everything I could about the ingredients and it sure SEEMS like nothing in here is un-human-safe. Pork Heart is human-edible, for sure. So! I'll take the plunge on behalf of all yall and report back.Opening the bag, smells like a pet store when you first walk in, where they have the dog-chew-toy-bar in front that's got dehydrated meat sticks in it. Cuz that's exactly what this is! No flavorings at all, no salt, sugar, glaze, preservatives, nuthin! It's like a strip of raw bacon sat out in the sun and got shriveled to nearly crumbling. Which is probably exactly what they did to make these! Indoors, of course.I really appreciate the "single farm origin" and "regenerative agriculture" promise on the bag - hoping that's legit REAL and not just marketing - which helps me feel better about my perhaps unwise decision to eat it myself XDAnd despite having the literal definition of "nothing burger" for taste... It also does actually grow on ya after a while!Overall, I bet meat-loving dogs will love this! And if you are a human that wants to try Pork Heart, you'll probably have better luck talking to a local butcher lol

I have bought quite a lot of treats from Farm Hounds but had yet to try the pork kidney. I like that their treats are single-ingredient, dehydrated and sourced from local farms. The pork kidney was a big hit with my dog. It does have a bit of a smell to it since it is all natural, but I think that made her love it even more.Farm Hounds dehydrated treats have a hard consistency due to the dehydration process which removes all of the water from the organs/tissue. If you have a dog missing teeth or a dog that doesn't chew properly then probably pass on this and look for something softer. It is not because it is "burnt", it is because these are natural products and not highly processed like most other dog treats.

Zoomy ALERT! These treats make our boy go CRAZY! He LOVES them! He obeys us and sits nicely to wait for his treat, but after he tastes it, he's off and around the living room, up and down the hallway, tail a-wagging, happy as can be! He is very food/treat obsessed, but these pork liver chews take the cake! He Loves them and I Love that they are natural with only one ingredient, made in the USA! I know these are safe for him to have, and that is very important to me. The bag they come in is resealable, so they stay fresh. GREAT product!
