The lock/unlock mechanism seems a little flimsy though. I wouldn't count on them lasting forever but I think they hold up long enough to make them worthwhile. They worked just fine my my use, which was to add to basement windows that kept finding a way to be forced open with high winds. The set includes the needed wood screws with some extras if some get dropped or lost, which is appreciated. Quality feels fairly good overall.
