First Pre-Wash before use UPDATE on long-term use
UPDATE: My last review consisted of pre-washing before use. Now I will review the liners after using them for about a month. These are still the best bang for your buck and keeps things neat and tidy. I have two liners and I clean the cage 2x a week. The cleaning of soiled liner is time consuming to "get it right". I take out the liner, shake it outside, use a dust brush to get off excess hay and hair. Then I soak the liner in the washer for a few hours in cold water with a little vinegar and All Clear detergent. Then I wash it on heavy still in cold water with a double rinse and a double spin. I throw it in the dryer for about 120-190 minutes of pure Air Fluff, zero heat setting. Once I take it out it may need an hour in front of the fan to get out any last dampness but usually it is ready to go. Without this thorough washing regimen, I find the liners hold an odor from wash to wash. If I didn't have my own washer and dryer I don't think I would recommend these. Hauling them to the laundromat would be pretty inconvenient. Since I go about 4 days between a liner change, it gives me 4 days to do the wash I prefer on these liners. I have had only the initial shrinkage at the first wash. The liners have stayed the same size since. But again, I don't even use heat in the dryer. Overall I still really like these liners and they've already paid for themselves in the month I've had them compared to the natural paper bedding. And my piggies absolutely love the pocket. I don't know how they lived without it!I just received the two liners I purchased for my two guinea pigs yesterday. I will be putting them in the cage after work. I will review the pre-wash and then review the quality later.Pre-washing was easy. I washed in cold water with vinegar, rinsed twice, spinned twice like the instructions. Then I AIR FLUFF dried for 30 minutes. They were almost dry, and I hung them up overnight to finish. This morning, dry as a bone and ready to go. I am not going to use any heat on these, just air fluff. I might be able to air fluff dry longer than 30 minutes but I thought I'd try this for now. I will pay attention to any shrinkage. I think zero heat and just drying this way may be best, but we shall see! Nice, heavy liners. Very excited to see how they work because I like to keep the cage really clean and I was spending $100 a month or more on natural paper bedding! If they work, they will pay for themselves in a month.

No leaks & super absorbent!
We love these liners! We went from using towels and fleece but it was so much bulk so much mess, so much washing and gross. We found these and decided to buy them. They are worth the money!!!!!. We just sweep in between washes. They’re super absorbent and easy to wash in the washing machine. What we do is hose it down very well to get all the caked on poop, hair and mess off. Wring it out and then put it in the wash on heavy duty cold/medium and only add Dawn dish soap and vinegar. Shake out well and do a 2nd cycle. Dry on low. They come w step by step care instructions too. Idk how they’re made inside but we’ll never use anything else again! They’re also 2+ inches longer on length. My hubby accidentally threw one out with the trash, lol, he then mistakenly ordered a 2x3 instead of a 2x4 that’s our cage size and it still worked. I stretch it after the wash and dry and viola. Lol. Our guineas love them and they love the pocket to hide under. We definitely recommend!!

The BEST Piggie Fleece Money Can Buy
After trying a couple different types of professionally made fleece bedding, this one is by far the best. The quality of the materials is impeccable. Most other fleece bedding is made with low quality commercial fleece from box store chains with uhaul blanket for an inner lining. The fleece used in GuineaDad is so soft and supple it almost feels like suede. The bamboo inner liner of GuineaDad is so much more absorbant and durable. Perhaps the biggest selling point for me is the waterproof material on the bottom. I have two adult guinea pigs in a single Midwest cage. With other fleece liners I have to put several layers underneath to contain the pee but with GuineaDad I only need the fleece liner thanks to the waterproof bottom. The instructions say that you only need to change out once a week but I do it every day. Maybe I am just more fastidious about keeping my pigs clean, dry and fresh smelling, but I just find it easier to swap it out daily. I have two GuineaDads that I alternate with so they go through the wash frequently. They wash well and do need extra drying time. Despite the rigorous washing, they haven’t pilled like other liners do. Hay also comes off like a breeze and dont wind into the fibers. They are absolutely worth the investment and I will be purchasing more to add to my stash. My pigs LOVE the pocket. If you prefer to use it without the pocket simply turn the pocket inside out and fold down underneath the bottom.

A must for pig parents.
If you have guinea pigs you need this fleece bedding! My 10-year-old daughter and I recently adopted a pair of guinea pigs. We’d never had gps before so it was all new to us. Originally we used paper bedding but it was so messy and hard to spot clean between cage cleanings. With the fleece we use a small broom and pan to sweep up poos a couple times a day. The pigs love the pocket. If they pee on it (they’re potty trained) it’s absorbent and never feels damp. When ready to clean my daughter rolls it up and takes it outside to shake out poos and hay. Then I throw it in the washer following the instructions on the packaging. We clean out the cage every 5 to 7 days.I have two so I always have a clean fleece ready to go.Initially I was cleaning the cage but with the fleece my daughter is able to do it by herself with little to no assistance.I hesitated at first due to the price but they are worth it. I’m saving so much money on bedding over time and it’s so much cleaner. Plus, I think the pigs like it better too.

I use this for my little ferrets in their 2x4 set up and it keeps the smell down, it's leak proof and they love hiding things in the pocket

Acquisto azzeccato
The media could not be loaded. Lo uso come base per la gabbia del porcellino d'india e devo dire che è molto morbido e caldo, lei lo adora ma sopratutto con l'aspirapolvere tiro gli escrementi e basta lavarlo e rimetterlo, mai più trucioli e polvere.
