Slatted Frame Brackets 28 Side Brackets 14 Centre Brackets Modern 63mm Black

I think that these are to be used with a metal frame however I have a King size timber boarded base that I had made....set the slat holders out evenly...drilled 9mm holes in the existing boards (edge and center) to suit the studs on the holders....using my jigsaw I slightly trimmed the 63mm slats that I'd purchased and hey presto job done.Definitely makes a difference to the mattress comfort. Will likely purchase more for the other super king sized bed.One little gripe is that one of the edge holders was badly deformed (plastic) but I've positioned it on the frame where it will be likely less relied on under tension/compression etc. Maybe worth a check on them before sending out. Not the most glamorous product to be leaving a review for but these do exactly what they were designed for. I’ve just fitted them so cannot speak for their longevity but they certainly seem solid enough and were very easy to fit. Just make sure you get the right sizes in terms of how wide your bed slats are and the distance between the centre points of the holes in your bed frame into which these slat ends fit into. So far so good: highly recommended.

Nothing wrong with the product itself but it would have helped if the width of the "prongs" and distance between the "prongs" were provided in the description as unfortunately these replacements did not fit our needs for 2 reasons:1) the distance between the 2 "prongs" were too narrow so did not align with the premade holes in the bed's metal frame2) the "prong heads" were too fat to slot into the premade holes in the bed's metal frame.My mistake is prior to ordering this, I had assumed that "one size fits all" when it comes to these products.

Used to replace most of the bed slat fixing as original has snapped when moving bed. Great product value for money

Unfortunately the plug bits are too big for my bed frame so not sure if I will be able to cut them down or be able to use them at all. Need to think about how to make them fit but there is a lot of plugs to amend!! Oh well never mind!!!

The original ones just disintegrated when we had to take the bed down to have a new carpet fitted. These were a perfect replacement and just slotted on so easily.

I moved my bed from UK to Germany, after some years these plastic parts started to break, and the bed base collapse. I looked into getting replacement parts in Germany, but with no success, then sice the bed was 'ottoman' style, there was no suitable replacement for complete base, so I faced buying a complete new bed, all for the sake of a few small plastic parts. Thankfully I found these parts available in UK, delivery was quick, and the price acceptble (much better than a new bed!!).Great job Amazon/Bishops Beds
